Alright guys it's about that tike and today's question of the day is: What is the one Internet sight that you want to fix? As of the making of this chapter 3 people responded and gave interesting answers.

Don't get me wrong all these are good choices as all Internet sights are mostly shells of their former selves, but for me the Internet sight I would fix is Reddit.
Of all the Internet sights, Reddit is by far one of if not the worst Internet sights of all time because unlike it has free speech. At least YouTube, Twitter, DeviantArt, Facebook, Discord, and more at least they let you speak freely whatever you want without any consequences unless some knucklehead mass reports you because they are too upset over different opinions. But Reddit? Not so much because it feels like an echo chamber, you see Reddit has this thing called a Karma system which is a community-driven reputation score. You earn it when your posts or comments receive upvotes, and lose it when they are downvoted. It acts as a rough measure of your contributions and trustworthiness across the platform. To put it in simple terms it's an echo chamber. You can literally have an opposite opinion, say you don't care, or even clarify what you mean by in a joke and you'd get downvoted to Hell instantly and it affects your ability to interact with a subreddit. You could literally lose access to a subreddit for the most pettiest reasons ever. One time I saw a comment where someone tries to clarify the post they made is all a joke and ask them not to take it seriously and still got downvoted to Hell, like you will literally lose Karma for stupid reasons. And it doesn't help when moderators will ban you for stupid reasons too. One time when I was using Reddit for the first time I was in an argument with a hostile person who was calling me names and throwing accusations and only minutes after I blocked him that I was banned from the subreddit. Like seriously? And even worse moderators turns are unemployed and unpaid volunteers. Yeah nah if I got control of Reddit this is exactly how I'm moving. Frame one I'm abolishing the Karma system. Having downvotes is fine but it's unacceptable if it means it results in you being restricted from interacting with the subreddit. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion no matter how much you hate it or not, the upvotes and downvotes should be the equivalent of the like to dislike ratio and even if it gets ratio that shouldn't stop the person from having free speech. Next I'm firing every single moderator and replacing them with actual professionals who know how to run Internet sight and actually make sure they are paid. Public or private sight I'm turning Reddit into an actual free speech space. The only bans that should happen are those who are truly toxic and harmful.
