I haven't really sought out Jesika since I kissed her cheek. I didn't actually plan to do that because in a way its cheating and I knew Caitlin wouldn't like it. I felt bad that it would hurt Caitlin but I didn't feel bad I did it, if that makes sense. I don't really know why I did that, but it happened and its not like I can just pretend it didn't because I actually liked it.

I wonder what causes her panic attacks. She never actually answered my question but I didn't try to push either because we were actually having an okay moment at that point and I didn't want to ruin it. But now I don't know what to do. I wasn't sure if I should tell Caitlin what happened or just keep it to myself. It wasn't like it was an actual kiss. It was just an innocent kiss on the cheek. Its something that family would do. I don't know, I just feel like maybe I shouldn't tell her because its not like it would happen again.

I decided I wasn't just going to sit around in my house for the day and got dressed in basketball shorts and a t-shirt. I grabbed my ball and started walking to the door to leave my house and go to the gym to shoot some hoops. "Mom, I'm headed out!" I called through the house.

"Alright, be back before dark!" Mom called back to me and I just walked out the door. I had a water bottle in one hand and I bounced my basketball down the sidewalk with the other as I made my way to the indoor gym where there was a court. I had my headphones in one ear and my phone playing music when someone came up and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Justin, right?" I turned and saw a guy that looked a little older than me.

"Yeah, and you are?" I asked. He looked sort of familiar but I couldn't put a name to his face.

"I'm Tyson." He told me and stuck his hand out. I took it, still not really knowing who he was. "Jesika's older brother."

"Oh," I replied because now it made sense why he looked familiar. I could see a little of Jes in him.

"Yeah, anyway, I saw you carrying the ball and was wondering if you wanted to play a little one on one game?" Tyson asked me.

"Sure. I'm heading to the gym, just needed to clear my head, but yeah I'm up for a little game. You any good?" I asked.

"In high school I was our star player back in California." Tyson told me and I could see how proud of himself he was.

"Not to brag or anything, but I've pretty much been the star player in every sport I've played." I told him and we both chuckled.

"So I noticed you got put in charge of sitting with my sister the other night when I was gone. She told me she had a panic attack."

"Yeah, it was pretty scary. I hadn't really dealt with it before so I didn't know what to do. Hey, can I ask you something?"

"You just did." Tyson said and I glared at him. "Chill!" He put his hands up in surrender. "Go ahead and ask."

"Why doesn't your mom trust Jesika home alone?" I asked him.

"Thats not really for me to tell. You should ask her." I turned and looked at him like he was insane. "I know Jes isn't the easiest person to talk to but she's been through a lot. Just don't knock her off before you get to know her."

"Its really hard to get to know her. She doesn't let anyone in enough to get to."

"You just have to keep trying." Ty said as we walked into the gym. I led him into the basketball court and saw there were already two guys playing one on one. "You guys want to do two on two?" Ty asked them. "Or half court?"

"We could do two on two." One of the guys said. "You guys versus us." Both of the guys looked more muscular and were at least a head taller than Ty and me but we both shrugged. Either we were both confident in our skills or we were just dumb enough to believe we could beat them.
