Harry snuck out of the room of requirement and walked back to the Griffindor dorms, people seemed to be staring at him more than usual but he shrugged it off, not yet knowing why everyone was staring at him and whispering to each other. When Harry got back to his dorm Ron was the first person to say something about what everyone had been staring at. "Oi, why are you wearing a Slytherin tie?" Ron asked
Harry's face turned red as he looked down and saw that he was in fact wearing a green and silver tie with a serpent at the bottom.
"Huh, must've gotten the wrong laundry" Harry tried to play it off
"No, you were wearing the right tie this morning... You're seeing someone! And they're a Slytherin!"
Harry shook his head "maybe someone changed the colors of my tie as a prank?"
"Who is it? You have to tell me, I'm your best mate!"
Harry sighed, if Ron didn't buy his excuses no one would. He knew he had to tread carefully, or he was a dead man. "They don't want the relationship to be public"
"That ship has sailed, the whole school probably knows by now" Ron looked at Harry "I won't tell anyone" he promised.
"They specifically said you and Hermione couldn't know" Harry took off the tie.
"Oh come on, we'll figure it out eventually"
"Ron please he- they said they'd kill me if I told anyone"
"He! Aha! So it's a boy who's in Slytherin.... It's Malfoy isn't it"
"It's not Malfoy!" Harry lied.
"Hey, I won't tell anyone and you didn't tell me, so he can't be mad at you"
Harry resisted the urge to roll his eyes and say "have you met Malfoy?" Harry already knew he was going to get hell from the omega about taking his tie.

Draco rushed back to the Slytherin dorm without his tie on and Harry's tie in his pocket, hoping to be seen by as few people as possible and not give anyone a chance to notice his missing tie. When he got to the common room he grabbed pansy and yanked her upstairs and into his dorm, locking the door behind them. "Pansy I'm a dead man" he said.
"Relax, they just know that Harry's dating a Slytherin they don't know it's you"
"Voldemort is going to make us all take veritaserum and ask us if we're dating Harry Potter"
"Voldemort doesn't care if Harry is dating a Slytherin" pansy sighs "not every Slytherin is in league with Voldemort anyway, everyone will assume it's someone else"
"So what you're saying is I need someone not in league with Voldemort to take the fall for me"
"That is not what I said"
"Too bad Romilda Vane isn't a Slytherin, everyone knows she's got a massive crush on Harry"
Pansy sighs "you could take Harry's offer to hide you and your family and start dating him publicly"
"Then I'll be a target, plan A is for Harry to defeat Voldemort and have 5 kids with me and live happily ever after, but I need my plan B which is sticking on voldemorts side and becoming a noble pureblood"
"Well first you need to find someone in our year that's an omega Slytherin not affiliated with Voldemort"

"You bufoon!" Draco began throwing the pillows on the bed at Harry "you grabbed the wrong tie and now Voldemort is going to kill me! Congratulations you got your first boyfriend murdered!"
Harry put his hands up as he got pelted by pillows, Draco had surprisingly good aim and the room of requirement seemed to be supplying Draco with more ammo than was initially on the bed. "I'm sorry! I can protect you from Voldemort we just have to go to Dumbledore-"
"I'm not asking that old hag for help!" Draco paused throwing pillows to cross his arms.
"He's not a hag, and he can help you-"
"How? By sticking me with an abusive aunt and uncle for 10 years?"
"That was for my own protection-" Harry argued
"And what was protecting you from them!" Draco threw another pillow at Harry.
"What's protecting me from you right now?"
"The fact that I love you and won't do anything to actually hurt you"
"You're throwing things at me!"
"They're pillows, and feel how soft they are" Draco threw another pillow at Harry
Harry blocked the pillow and took the opportunity to run at Draco, picking him up off the bed and smothering him with kisses as revenge. Draco squirmed in Harry's arms trying to wiggle free, but Harry wouldn't let him escape. "Let go of me you brute!"
"Not until you agree to let me keep you safe" Harry said, kissing Draco's forehead
"I need to be kept safe from your stupidity! This wouldn't be a problem if you were paying attention last time"
"C'mon we couldn't keep this a secret forever-"
"*You* couldn't keep this a secret! And we only needed to be secret long enough for you to kill Voldemort"
"Then I'll go and kill Voldemort" Harry said
"You can't just kill Voldemort-"
"Shhhhhh... Yes I can.... I'm Harry freaking Potter" Harry said soothingly
Harry climbed into bed with Draco and cuddled him close, gently petting the omega until he fell asleep before sneaking out of the room of requirement he went directly to slughorn's office to obtain the memory of Tom Riddle asking about horcruxes before reporting the information to Dumbledore.

"It's been a week pansy, he's ghosted me" Draco sighs as he heard the door to his dorm open and close.
"He ghosted the whole school, he didn't even take Ron and Hermione with him"
"It's my fault, he said he was going to kill Voldemort right before he left, I should have stopped him, instead of letting myself fall asleep!"
"You couldn't have known he was being serious, but now that we know what he's planning on doing we can look for him"
"We're never going to find him, Voldemort probably already killed him"
"If Voldemort killed Harry we would have at least been invited to the celebration afterwards" pansy sat on the bed and rubbed Draco's back "people are starting to think you disappeared with Harry since you haven't left your room"
Draco sighed"I wish I could have disappeared with him"
Pansy got up and went to Draco's closet, picking out clothes for him and tossing them on top of him on the bed. "Get dressed, we're going to find Potter"
Draco whined "I don't want to get up"
"Harry will probably get himself killed without us or his friends to help him, you need to be the daring Prince and go save his ass"
Draco groaned and got up. "He's supposed to be the hero, I'm the damsel in distress" he waved his wand and magically changed into the clothes pansy had picked out. "Where do we even start looking for him?"
"The only way out of Hogwarts is through hogsmead, so we'll start there"
Pansy said.

At the hogshead inn Draco first spotted Ron and Hermione talking to the bartender surprisingly Ron waved for them to come over.
Draco approached cautiously as if he thought it was a trap.
"Harry didn't tell me you two were a thing, but I figured it out" Ron explained "he's always been obsessed with you, the Slytherin tie just confirmed what I suspected" ron explained
Draco laughed "ha! Me and Potter? Leave the jokes to your brothers, weasly"
Ron rolled his eyes "so I'm assuming you don't want us to tell you where Harry is?"
Draco looked around making sure no one from their school was in the pub. "Tell me where my husband is" Draco demanded.
"We don't know..." Hermione admitted, "but I'm sure of we work together we can figure something out"
Draco crossed his arms "I'm not going to work with you since you lied about knowing where Potter is" he huffed.
"Ignore him, we could definitely use the help" pansy said.
