After months apart, Leafy and Firey finally reunite with their old friends after defeating One.

Leafy learns that Firey has been secretly planning something with Coiny. After years of friendship, heartbreak, reconciliation, and feelings left unsaid, Firey decides it's finally time to ask Leafy the question he's been too afraid to ask.

"It's been so long, Leafy! I've missed you!"

Before Leafy could properly respond, Flower scooped her little green friend off the ground and squeezed her tightly.

"Flower!" Leafy laughed, returning the hug as best she could while dangling in her arms.

It really had been a long time. Flower hadn't seen Leafy in months—not since the BFB finale. After Flower had won, Leafy and Firey congratulated her before sailing away together in search of their own Dream Island. A lot has happened since then. Their island had been destroyed, One had caused complete chaos, and now, after everything that had happened defeating her, Leafy and Firey were with the TPOT contestants, along with the other BFBers. They even had a chance to rejoin the game, assuming the voters wanted them back.

Flower had missed Leafy more than she'd expected. They'd known each other practically forever, all the way back to the first season. They'd interacted here and there during BFDIA too, even when Flower wasn't exactly the most popular person around. Back then, Flower didn't have many friends, so she'd appreciated anyone willing to talk to her.

But BFB was when she and Leafy had really gotten close. Flower had even watched Leafy reconnect with Firey after everything that happened between them. After years of Firey practically pretending Leafy didn't exist, they'd finally talked, made up, and somehow ended up closer than ever.

Flower had been proud of them, and now that Leafy was finally back, there was one question Flower had been dying to ask.

"So..." Flower grinned mischievously. "You and Firey."

Leafy blinked. "Me and Firey... what?"

"I'm surprised I haven't had to recover either of you yet. Did you guys seriously not kiss the second you were alone together?"

"FLOWER!" Leafy shrieked, her face immediately turning a lighter shade of green. "Firey and I... we aren't—!"

"Whaaat?!" Flower's jaw dropped. "No way! How?! I remember you telling me you totally liked him and wanted to be his girlfri—MMMPH!"

Leafy slapped a hand over Flower's mouth.

"SHUSH!" she hissed, frantically glancing around. "Nobody knows that!"

Flower grabbed Leafy's wrist and pulled her hand away. "Girl, everybody knows that."

Leafy's eyes widened. "Everybody?"

"Leafy, come on! We all just assumed you and Firey were already a thing! You sailed away together and then lived alone together for months!" Flower giggled. "What else were we supposed to think?"

"Well..." Leafy awkwardly rubbed her arm. "We're not. At least... not officially."

It had been a little while since everything with One had settled down. Everyone had been given time to reunite, explain what had happened, and help rebuild everything that had been damaged. Things were finally stable enough for TPOT to continue safely.
