It was a fine Saturday morning. Good mood ako dahil sa sa mabangong naamoy kong binibake ni ate Cassie sa kusina.

"What you cookin'?"

Hinubad nito yung pot holder sa mga kamay nya. "Butter scotch brownies with love." sabi nito sabay kindat.

Napaismid pa ako bago dumakma ng isang brownie. "Pahingi ha!"

"Hep! Hep!" Bigla nyang kinuha yung tray. "Dessert natin 'to later sa dinner."

"Anla! Mamaya pa yun eh." reklamo ko.

"Uuwi kaya si mommy!"

Nagningning yung mga mata ko sa sinabi ni ate Cassie. "Really? Yehey!! Si daddy?"

"Nope. Nasa New York pa rin si daddy."

Nalungkot naman ako dun. May exclusive partnership chuchu kasi silang inaasikaso dun eh. Pero keribels lang atleast uuwi si mommy! Halos isang buwan na yata sila sa NY. Miss na miss ko na ang mga parentals! Siguro eto yung downside pag nag e-expand yung business nyo. Nag e-expand rin yung gap ng family nyo.

Dahil ayaw ipagalaw ni ate Cassie yung butter scotch brownies with love nya, kinuha ko na lang yung apple sa fruit basket.

"Plus! Ryker's coming too!"

Pwe! Napadura ako.

"But, why?!" angil ko.

"Because.." Kinurot pa ni ate yung cheeks ko. "He's already family."

Last time I checked Aguilar ang apeylido nya, not Mendez! So hindi sya family member. DEVIL AGUILAR NOT ALLOWED!

"Kaya KUYA Ryker na dapat ang tawag mo sa kanya ha!"

My morning just went from wonderful to a nightmare.

"Ate.. Chill ka lang, pwede? 9 months pa lang kayo noh."

"So? We're to infinity and beyond! Forever and ever!!" Dreamy na sabi ni ate Cassie. Napatawa na lang ako kaya pinanliitan nya ko ng mata. "Why do you dislike him so much ba?"

"Well.. He's rude, snob, cocky, arrogant--" Nagkibit-balikat ako. "My list is too long."

"Sobra ka naman baby sis." Sumimangot si ate Cassie. "Sana bigyan mo naman sya ng chance. Once you get to know him, you'll see that he's not all that."

Ginayuma ba ni Ryker ang ate ko?? Hindi ko kasi talaga makita, kahit maboso man lang yung 'he's not all that' na sinasabi nya.
