Jc:
I looked around and noticed that Kian was no longer next to me. How long had he been gone? I looked down at the girls clinging to me and almost barfed. How needy.
I pulled away from the girls, whose expressions instantly transformed to look like a lost, sad puppy. I rolled my eyes but made sure my back was faced to them so they couldn't see. I wasn't that mean.
My eyes scanned the room, frantically looking for Kian. It made me nervous when I didn't know where he was. I sighed, not seeing him, and I took out my phone to call him. I huffed in frustration when I was sent to voicemail. I ended Kian's call and dialed Ricky's number instead. Hopefully someone knew where Kian was.
Ricky picked up and I heard the music from the homecoming dance echoing between our phones. I held my breath, hoping Kian was with him.
"Jc, what's up?" Ricky asked from the other end of the phone. I asked him if he knew where Kian was.
"Yeah, he's right next to me."
"Where are you?"
Ricky told me they were in a corner of the dance room and I found my way over to them. When I saw them, I let out a breath of relief.
"Hey, why are you all the way over here?" I looked down at Kian as my heartbeats slowly started to slow down. I watched Kian's eyes trail up my body, and a shiver traveled down my spine.
"You were kind of busy over there with those girls. I didn't want to get in the way." Kian shrugged and sipped on his drinking, trying to seem nonchalant. But I could see through his facade. He was nervous and probably a little hurt. No one else would have noticed those inner feelings, but I always do. I tried to think about anything I could have done to make him nervous and hurt.
"Why're you acting like this?" I asked him, trying to sound calm and soft, but it came out a little impatient and harsh. Hurt flashed in Kian's eyes for a split second, but I caught it.
I knelt down in front of Kian, so I was slightly looking up at him. I gently took his hands in mine and stroked his knuckles with my thumb. I saw his Adam's apple bob up and down as he swallowed.
"Baby, I just want to know what I did to make you hurt?" I asked softly.
"Who said I was hurt?"
"Kian, I know you better than anyone. I notice every little thing about you. Do you really think I don't pay attention?" I smirked slightly. Kian smiled widely and pulled me closer to him.
"So, how come you were hurt?" I asked a little more cautiously, not wanting to disturb our peace. Kian sighed, closing his eyes for a moment.
"Just those girls...How they clung to you-"
"C'mon, Kian, we've gone through this a million times. I love you, and only you."
"You didn't let me finish. I felt bad for you. I don't give you that attention, and you deserve it."
My heart swelled with love for Kian as I looked at him. I placed kisses on top of his hand. My sweet, sweet Kian.
"You don't need to give me attention, I don't care about that, love." I smiled at Kian as he furrowed his eyebrows, looking at me with innocent eyes.
"Then what do you care about?"
"You." I told him, and both of our eyes teared up. My throat got tight as I tried to suppress my happy tears as he pulled me into a tight hug. I rubbed his back soothingly, and let out a soft sigh.
"I am so deeply in love with you." Kian whispered into my ear, and I laughed lightly through my tears.
I can't believe how lucky I am to be in love with Kian Lawley.

Hope you love it ;)
