Chapter Three: Running late?

Emma's POV

"Hey, what can I get you?" I say as a man walked into the shop. He was handsome, tall with brown hair and ocean blue eyes. "Umm, wow I have no idea." He smiled. God his smile was amazing. "Ahh, that's okay. I know how hard it is to pick something. Is it your first time here?" I asked. "Is it that obvious?" He laughed. "No,no it's just usually everyone has a usual and well you didn't." I laughed back. "What would you like?" I repeated. "Surprise me." He replied. I smiled at him and pulled a bit of hair behind my ear. "Do you like croissants?" I asked. "Yeah" he replied.

After a few short minutes of awkward silence I wrapped the croissant up and placed it in a bag. "Here you go, that's $1.75 please." I said. He handed me the money and I accidentally looked into his eyes without noticing. I realized and automatically blushed. "Keep the change." He said. "Thanks!" I smiled again. He left the shop leaving me red cheeked and all smiles. "Who was that?" Mary Margaret asked. "I have no idea..." I replied staring at the door. "Oooo Emma has a crush!!" Mary Margaret chanted. "No she doesn't and your lucky no ones in here!" I said nudging her softly. She laughed and walked into the oven room

One thing that was going to annoy me was he left without telling me his name. He just seemed so nice and I didn't want to take my eyes of him. I was secretly hoping he was become a regular in the bakery. Just had to wait and see.

Killian's POV

I thanked the beautiful woman at the counter and left. I ran back into my car quickly and races to work. Thoughts flying through my head about how gorgeous that server was. I didn't want to take my eyes off her. I couldn't help but keep thinking about her which sounds a little bit creepy.

I arrived at work just on time and ran into the studio. I worked as a sound booth worker in 'J.P studios' and we had some conferences and meetings today so I hoped I wasn't late for any. "Killian, your lucky you didn't miss anything." The secretary says as I signed in. "Well traffic was a bit crazy this morning." I say to her. I ran into my office and set my bag and lunch down.

Someone knocked on my door and I invited them in. "Hey Killian. I see you have finally showed your handsome face here." In walked my work partner and close friend Robin. "The traffic was a bit crazy this morning. But at least I'm here and I haven't missed any meetings yet." I explained to him. "I know, I've only been here a few minutes too. Mondays hey?" Robin tells me. "Yeah, I called into a bakery on the way. There was an amazing woman who served me. Wait did I say that out loud?" I said going red. "Ooo Killian has a crush! Wait did you say bakery? By any chance was it 'whipped dreams'?" He asks me. "Yes, why whats so important about it?" I asked Robin. "My wife Regina's best friend Emma works there. By any chance did she have long blonde curly hair with green eyes?" Robin says laughing. "No way! Yeah she does! Her names Emma? Now that I didn't know." I said to him. Robins phone goes off which ment we had to go to out first conference of the day.
