Chapter Twenty One: The Ring

Killian's POV

Shortly after Emma has left the house i decided along with Liam and Henry to do something life changing.

"Boys...."

"Yeah Killian?"

"What's up?"

"Well as you both know ive know Emma for about a year now and i really really want to..."

"You want to propose to my mom! I knew it!"

"Wait what? How did you know that Henry?"

"I saw the suspense on you face, plus you looked suspicious."

"Um okay, but your right. I do want to propose to Emma. But i want you both to come with and help me pick out a ring."

"Sure!"

They both agreed then went up to get ready. We left the house and drove off.

When we got into town i realised my phone had died and i didnt leave a note for Emma to say i was gone. I started panicking but quickly calmed down when we walked into the jewellers " Demarco jewellers." My dad got my moms ring in here and their rings were absolutely stunning. I knew this was the perfect place to buy Emma her ring.

The minute we walked in we were in awe of the amount of diamond rings in display. They all looked so amazing, i could tell we could be here for a very very long time.

Finally after an hour in the shop we pick the perfect ring, i then bring Henry and Liam for something to eat the we got into the car to home.

We arrived at the house and when we walked in the house was silent. Ella and Scarlet were asleep in their beds and I couldnt see Emma in the kitchen. I walked into the living room to find her lying peacefully in the sofa, her blonde hair spread across a pillow and resting on her face. I lifted her and brought her up to bedroom and tucked her into the bed. I kissed her forehead and went downstairs with Liam and Henry.

We sat in the game room playing games and watching movies when i heard footsteps upstairs. I figured Emma was awake so i went back up to see her and tell her i was home. But it was an unexpected sight.

She was throwing up in the toilet and it was an awful sound. I ran in and kneeled beside her and held her hair back. She kept throwing up over and over with no stops. It was the worst i had ever seen. Finally she stopped and cried into my shoulder.

"When did you come home?"

"about an hour ago, i brought you up to bed because i saw you fell asleep on the sofa."

"Sorry about that"

"There's nothing to be sorry about Emma. You cant control what your body does.
I was planning to ask you out on a date tomorrow night but maybe we can just hang out in the house?"

"No no! I'd love to go on a date with you Killian"

"Okay love, if you wish"

We realised we were still on the bathroom floor so i picked Emma up and brought her into bed. I stayed with her until 10:30pm then i told the boys to go to bed. Finally i was back in bed with Emma at 11pm and we snuggled up to eachother during the night.

But it wasnt so peaceful, Emma ran in and out of the toilet to be sick more than 3 times it was awful. I hated seeing her so sick. But at 5am was the last time she was sick and we finally got sleep.

Emma's POV

I have never felt so ill before in my life. I was really hyped to go on a date with Killian tonight and i still wanted to go but i don't think Killian will agree. I open my eyes to see Killian staring at me and the sun shining through the curtains highlighting his beautiful ocean blue eyes. He smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Good morning sunshine, how are you feeling?"

"Im okay i guess. Are we still up for date night?"

"Emma are you sure? You have been sick 4 times and i dont want to bring you out if you aren't feeling well."

"No please Killian i really do want to go on this date! We have only been on a few and its been ages since our last one!"

"Fine as long as you promise you are feeling okay"

"I am I promise "

"Okay well, ill go get everything ready"

He left the room and I immediately got out of bed and took a shower. It was 12pm when i finally got out. I tied a towel around me and went in to bedroom. I walked in to see Killian was sitting on the bed. He smiled and stood up to hold my hands.

"I have to go out and sort somethings out. Be ready for 7pm okay?"

"Okay, I'll miss you."

"Not as much as I'll miss you Emma."

He kissed me then left the room. I changed into a new pair of pyjamas then let my hair air dry so i can style it later on.

When i went downstairs Liam and Henry were in the living room watching tv. I began making lunch for us three as Killian told me he was meeting up with Robin for Lunch. We all sat down to sat down to eat and i tried to tell them how their homeschooling was going to work. After we were done we went inton the living room to watch tv and i couldnt contain my excitement for me and Killian's date tonight.

Killian's POV

I was meeting up with Robin for lunch as he said he has some news to tell me. I arrived at the restaurant and he was already sitting at the table. It had been such a long time since we seen eachother as i was always at the hospital. I sat down at the table and i ordered my food.

"So I brought you here because i have some big news."

"What is it Robin? Usually your big news involves you talking about football."

"Haha no its not to do with football. You know how you wanted to wait a while before you became the official owner of J.P studios? Well im here to offer your promotion now."

"Are you serious?! Yes of course!!"

"Brilliant! You start next week!"

"Thank you so much Robin! Ive been waiting for this for so long!"

"No problem. It is after all your parents studio and they left it to you in their will."

"Their will?"

"You were never told?! Your parents wrote a will for you and Liam. Here i have it somewhere in these documents."

He handed me all the studios documents that were now mine to deal with and amongst them all was my parents will.

"I had no idea! Thank you for all this Robin. I have to go, me and Emma have a date tonight and i have to go set it up."

"Thats okay. I have to get home to Regina. We are leaving for Milan tomorrow for her new fashion line reveal. Ill see you next week at work?"

"You sure will"

With that i left the restaurant and got into my car and drove to where i was planning on having the date.
