Chapter Fifty: No turning back now

Killian's POV

Jack and Helen, Jack and Helen.... Where have I heard those names before? I continued to think about it whilst they stood infront of me.

"Killian who is it?"

Emma walked up behind me which made me push the door open more. It clicked and I soon realised who Jack and Helen were.

"You two!"

"Emma get into the house."

"No Emma, stay out here! Talk to us!"

"Emma get in now!"

Emma froze before turning slowly around and walking into the kitchen.

"Get out."

"All we want to do is talk."

"Get away from my wife!"

"Wife?"

"Aye we are married, and we have a baby so I suggest you move before I phone the sheriff."

"Fine, but it's not the last of us. We will be back to see her and we will get answers."

They both turned around and I slammed the door in anger. I stared at the door before running over to Emma and hugging her.

"Hey hey, it's okay. They can't hurt you while im around."

"They are here for revenge. Killian I can't face them again. It's too much. And this time I have a family to worry about."

"Don't you worry about a thing. I'm here for the whole family and it will get better. Trust me."

"I do trust you."

"I think we should have an early night. Come on."

I kissed her forehead before we headed upstairs and got into bed. It took some time but eventually Emma fell asleep. Just as I was about to go to sleep I remembered I had left our phones downstairs. I decided to be on the safe side and lift them and bring them upstairs. I tip-toed out of the room and down the stairs quickly and quietly.

Just as I had lifted our phones and walked towards the stairs I heard a bang. I turned around but there was nothing there. Then I heard a crash and jumped out of my skin. I looked around downstairs and saw nothing had smashed. But then I heard Sophie began to cry very loudly and I ran up to her room.

I swing the door open and found one of Sophie's windows had been smashed. Emma ran behind me and gasped at the sight. She ran over to soothe Sophie as I rummaged through the glass and found a brick type rock on the ground. I looked up to Emma as she held Sophie close.

"It's them. Thy are starting to attack us Killian. And it hasn't even been a day yet. What's next?"

"I'll phone the station. I suspect David will still be on duty. Bring Sophie into our room and calm her down."

She nodded and I hugged them both. I lifted my phone off one of Sophie dressers that I set it on as I entered the room. I dialed the stations number and specifically requested for David to come and a few more investigators. As i finished the call I went downstairs to unlock the door. I sat outside on the porch for David who didn't take too long to come driving into our driveway with three police cars and an investigation car.
