Killian's POV
One week later...

Me and Emma were leaving for Paris in a few days so we had scheduled a doctors appointment before we went. Having a pregnant wife with morning sickness hasn't been fun as basically every morning since the wedding she has been up sick or can't sleep cause her temperature spiked. I just hope it's all worth it in the end.

With all the packing and morning sickness we have also began signing forms for Henry to go back to public school. After almost 8 months of recovery we hoped he was strong enough to go back. It worried Emma deep down but I knew she didn't want to show it to Henry.

It was 11am and Emma's appointment was at 2pm. We were all ready to go but just far too early. We dropped Liam and Henry at basketball because Henry wanted to start basketball when he started public school. But Emma being Emma insured he brought all his medications and inhalers incase he felt wheezy. Me and Emma headed to lunch after so pass time before the appointment.

Finally we left the cafe and went straight to the hospital. The worse thing about all of this was the fact that Emma didn't even look excited. Of course she had good reason to but in fairness she is pregnant and has a good chance of keeping this baby. But she won't admit that to herself and let's her past experiences haunt her.

"Emma..."

"Hmmh."

"What's up, why do you look so upset?"

"I'm just having a hard time that's all."

"Tell me what's wrong, you know you can tell me anything."

I place my hand on hers and keep my eyes on the road. She sighs before she talks.

"I just don't want this to end up like the last two pregnancies. It's been hard enough knowing that there is a chance and I don't want to get my hopes up for them to be crushed again."

"Emma! We have already been through this! You had the surgery, you will be fine! This baby is new hope for both of us. I promise nothing will happen to our baby."

"I agree with everything your saying but I just have a hunch that I can't shake. I'm sorry, it's silly of me. But you can't blame me."

"Love I don't blame anything on you. Your motherly instincts are kicking in and honestly people should be afraid of the mother side of you, cause quite frankly I am. But just forget about the past today and look forward. Okay?"

"Okay, I'll try."

I gently pecked her cheek and focused my eyes back on the road. We pulled up to the car park and entered the hospitals reception. We went to the third level and sat in the empty waiting room. Emma held onto my hand as we waited for us to be called into the room.

"Mrs.Jones!"

We both looked at eachother and stood up, walking towards the exam room. We enetered as I sat down in a chair and Emma sat on the exam chair. The nurse started up the ultrasound machine and I walked up to stand beside her. I took hold of her hand as the nurse placed the cold gel on to her stomach. Emma shivered as she began to spread the gel all over her stomach with the scanner.

Emma held her breath as the nurse started looking for the baby. Finally the monitor stop fuzzing and a small image appeared on the screen.
