Chapter Twenty Two: Say Yes

Emma's POV

Finally after hours of waiting it was time for me to get ready for me and Killian's date. I had choosen to wear a short white dress and white shoes with diamontes on them. I knew that Killian didnt want me to wear casual clothing or something that was too fancy. So the dress i had choosen was perfect for the occasion.

I curled my hair then braided the front bits and clipped them round my head. I started my makeup and then put on my dress and shoes.

When i walked downstairs Liam and Henry smiled at me.

"Woah Mom you look amazing!"

"Thank you very much Henry."

"I agree. You look amazing Emma!"

"Why thank you Liam."

I hear a horn beep outside and i grab my coat and bag.

"I'll see you guys soon! David should be coming over in half an hour to watch you guys till we come back."

"Mom don't worry about us! Go out and enjoy yourself."

"Okay i will. Henry please remember to take your meds."

"I will now go!"

"Okay okay bye guys! See you soon."

I stepped out of the house and Killian was sitting in his car outside the house. I walked up and he got out of the car. I hugged him tightly and our lips collided. I had missed him so much in the last 7 hours so it was so good to see him again.

"Hello beautiful, you look absolutely stunning love"

"And you look very handsome "

He was wearing a very very smart grey suit that looked like he had just bought. After a few minutes of syanding outside the house he opened the passengers door and kindly held it open for me. He closed it once i had fastened my seatbelt then got in on the drivers side. He smiled at me and we began to drive.

We had been driving for almost 30 minutes when we stopped at a red light Killian handed me a blindfold to wear so i was surprised when we arrived at the place of the date. I slowly put it over my head and my nerves started to kick in.

When we arrived Killian helped me out of the car and we walked a few steps then stopped.

"You ready?"

"Ready"

He took off the blindfold and the sight infront of my eyes was magical. A beautiful white table with dinner layed out on it under a tree with hanging lanterns. There was flowers everywhere and i was in complete shock.

"How did you do all of this?!"

"I have my ways"

"Killian this is one of the most thoughtful things someone has done for me! Thank you so so so so much!"

I hugged him and then he pulled out my chair for me to sit down. He helped me take off my coat then placed it on the back of the chair. He sat down the took off the top of the silver platters revealing our meal. Grilled cheese and onions rings. One of the least romantic meals but it was most certainly my favourite. I laughed and we tucked into our meal.

After an hour or so of talking, laughing and being cute together. Killian stood up and buttoned up his suit. I smiled confusingly at him, wondering why he had stood up. He then got down on one knee and i knew exactly what he was doing.

Killian's POV

I had never been so nervous before in my life. I had been shaking through the whole meal and it was finally time for me to pop the question. I had bever done this before, i had seen it on tv shows and movies but never done it. However Emma had been engaged before, even married. So i was worried that all this wouldn't be good enough.

I stood up, got down on one knee and took a deep breathe.

"Emma Swan, the most beautiful, funny, kindest, smartest person i have ever had the pleasure to lay my eyes on. You are my life, i dont go one day without thinking about you. We live together which is one of the biggest decisions i have ever had to make. But it was the best one i made. And im so so so happy to call you mine. But the last year has been tough. We know so much about eachothers pasts and i would call our relationship unique for that reason. As not every couple tell their secrets to their soulmate on the first date. But i am eternally grateful for that. That you continue to trust me with every pump of your heart. As do i with you. Emma Swan you are an amazing woman who has been through things that I wouldn't dare wish on other people. You are so strong Emma, you would never give up on the people you love. So i take this finger, and this ring as a promise to you. A promise that no matter what i will always be here for you. Emma Swan i love you, so im here to ask you one question. Will You Marry Me?"

She looks in complete shock. I dont know how to react to it. She could be surprised with delight or she hates me.

"Killian Jones, Yes! Yes i will marry you!"

She jumps off her seat and skips around the table in happiness. She stops and lets me put the ring on her finger. She pulls me in for a very passionate kiss and hugs me tightly.

"Thank you so so much Killian, its beautiful!"

She stares at the ring in awe and tears roll down her face.

"We are getting married!!"

She screams. I pick her up and spin her around. She laughs uncontrollably and it was the cutest thing ever. I put her down and she looked a bit dizzy which made us laugh more. We seriously looked like a couple of kids.

After a while of messing about and talking we decided to go home. I held Emma's hand as we walked toward the car. But halfway there she stops and lets go of my hand. I turn to look at her to find her sort of in pain.

"Emma? Whats wrong?"

"Killian......."
