Killian's POV
- Two months later -

It was the morning of Emma's surgery. We had to be at the hospital for 7am meaning a very very early morning for us. The boys were being minded by Aunt who was staying in the guest bedroom.

I woke Emma up at 2am and she went to get a quick shower. I started packing somethings into a suitcase as i didn't know how long we would be here for. We tried to be quiet too as if we woke someone up they wouldn't be in the best mood.

Emma got out of the shower and threw on some sweatpants and a hoodie. She wasn't dressing to impress as she was going in for surgery not a fashion show as she said.

The worst part was that the we werent going to the hospital we usually went to. We had to go to a women's hospital in Boston. Which was more than a three hour drive away. So the earlier we left the less traffic there would be and the quicker we would get there.

We planned to leave at 3am, we locked everything up, made sure everything we needed was packed and headed for the car.

We had been driving for an hour now and we stopped at a petrol station to fill up the car. Emma went in to get us coffee and a snack. We still had at least two hours ahead of us and we didnt want to slow ourselves down. Emma came back and we sat in the car for a few minutes drinking and eating until we decided to start driving again.

"Emma, stop."

"Im not doing anything!"

"You are! I can see the worry on your face dont be so nervous."

"I cant help it! I must be hardwired to worry about almost anything."

"Well just dont worry at all, everything will go smoothly and before you know it we will be back home."

"How can you be so sure?"

"We have had this discussion before. It's because i have hope for us. You never know. This time next year you could be pregnant."

"Killian, lets not jump to conclusions."

"Im trying to lighten the mood."

"I know you are but its not helping my nerves."

"Well it should! Just take a deep breath and relax. We still have a long drive ahead of us."

She sighed and took out her phone to check the time. She kept checking every ten seconds. I could tell she was getting worked up about everything and i was trying my best to sooth her but nothing was working.

We finally arrived into Boston after a three hour drive. We still had an hour to spare so we went to a early bird cafe for something quick to eat.

"You know i was thinking."

"That sounds like you Emma."

She glared at me then smiled.

"At Gala's they usually have entertainment."

"I know they do. Ive been to one before."

"Well i was thinking."

"You want to hire entertainment?"

"Shush let me finish! When i was little I always wanted to be a dancer. But because of my orphanage i couldnt. I would really, really like to hire out a dance academy to the Gala to perform?"
