Chapter Five: A perfect night for two

Killian's POV

I got home and placed my folders and documents on the kitchen table. I pulled out the card I took from Emma's counter and typed in her number.

'Hey Emma its Killian Jones. Your regular customer from your bakery. I'll come collect you at 7:30 love, you need to tell me your address first.'

I sent the text and went up to my room and looked at my clock. 5:49pm. Just enough time to actually get ready. My phone buzzed and I looked down.

'Sure! I live at 34 Madison Avenue. See you then!'

I saved her number in my phone and went to my bathroom to shower. After I dried my hair and put on a navy suit with a white shirt and red tie. I styled my hair and put on my shoes. I walked downstairs again and looked at my phone that was charging. 7:10pm. I decided to go and get Emma so lifted my phone, wallet and car keys. I ran into my car and started the engine. I quickly texted Emma to tell her I was coming and drove off.

Emma's POV

I was on my way to Mary Margaret and David's house to drop henry off when my phone buzzed. I couldn't pick it up obviously so I waited until I reached Mary Margaret's house and looked at it quickly. Killian had texted me asking for my address. I quickly texted him my address and got out of the car with Henry and left him with Mary Margaret, telling her I was coming to get him in the morning. I ran back to my bug and checked my phone again. It was 5:55pm and Killian was coming for me at 7:30pm. I drove home as fast as I could and raced inside to get ready.

I had showered this morning so I didn't really need to again. I picked out my dress that was a red flowy knee length dress. I put it on and slipped on black heels. I curled my hair and did my make up quickly. When I looked at the clock it was 6:45pm so I lifted my bag and started to put stuff in it to pass time. I checked my phone and Killian had texted me.

'Hello love. I've just left to come get you! Hopefully see you soon!'

He was so cute. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. I sat in the living room patiently waiting for him to knock at my door. I kept checking my phone to make sure I had definitely sent him the right address. Next thing I knew the door was being knocked and I fixed my dress standing up. I walked towards the door. I opened it and Killian stood there in awe.

"You look absolutely stunning Emma." He smiles. "You look very handsome." I laugh. "Why thank you. Now may I bring this gorgeous woman to dinner?" He says and hands me a bouquet of flowers. "Killian they are gorgeous! One sec until I put them in a vase. Come in." I say to him. He smiles and we both walk in. I closed the door behind him and I guides him into my kitchen. "Very very nice place you have here. It very big too." He explains. "I've lived here for eight years or so. And I just had to spruce it up a little." I say smiling. I placed the flowers into a vase and turned to Killian. "Now we should get going." I say. "Yup. Let's do this." Killian laughs. We walk out into the streets of New York and I lock my door. Killian showed me to his car and opened the door for me. "Your driving?" I laughed. "I don't drink alcohol." He replied laughing too. I nod and he turns on his engine.
