Chapter Thirty Four: Lies

The night before the wedding
Killian's POV

Tonight was my stag night and Emma's hen party. I was excited to finally meet up with all my friends from school again and some current friends too. I had made peace with Robin and he apologised for what he said.

Recently i had been having concerns about Emma. She seemed anxious a lot of the time and i felt that she was keeping something from me.

I packed all of my things and brought it downstairs, ready for my stay at the hotel with my best men as the wedding was tomorrow. I agreed to not get drunk tonight as i would have a horrible hangover in the morning. Emma was only going out for dinner with her bridesmaids and Lily who had came over from England again.

"Im going to miss you tonight my love."

"You will see me in the morning, dont fret. You wont be let down."

"I bet you will look absolutely stunning Emma."

"You as always will look handsome."

I kissed her and hugged her before saying goodbye and grabbing all my bags. I placed all my stuff in the back of my car then drove off to pick up Robin and David.

The three of us arrived at the hotel and hung up our suits so they didn't wrinkle. We phoned everyone else to tell them when we were meeting up and where. Whilst Robin and David got ready, i sat twiddling my thumbs and getting worked up over leaving Emma over night.

"Mate i know how you're feeling. Infact me and Robin both know. It's okay to be anxious. You just want everything to go according to plan."

"It's not that. It's Emma. She has been acting so strange lately."

"She is also stressed. I would worry about it."

I nodded in agreement and then started to get ready for our night out.

Emma's POV

My morning sickness had kicked in this past week and trying to hide it from Killian was one of the hardest things i had ever had to do.

I tried to convince Mary Margaret to just go out to a restaurant tonight instead of going out to party in different clubs like we had planned to. I hadn't told her about my pregnancy yet and I wasn't planning on telling her yet either. I wanted to announce it at the wedding party tomorrow so i could surprise everyone at the same time.

Liam and Henry were spending the night at Killian's aunts and then coming back round home tomorrow morning to get ready. My dress was also being brought in the morning by Liv and Jake. Molly and Rebecca were coming back to do my hair and make up too. Everything was planned and ready to be put into action. But i wasn't ready at all.

We decided that tomorrow we would scatter Alex's ashes in a private park quite far from here, we were also getting our wedding photos taken there too.

I heard knocking at my door and Mary Margaret, Regina, Lily and my close school friend Belle was at the door.

"Hey!"

"Thanks for coming everyone! Come in."

I gestured them to come in and they all went into the kitchen and placed their alcohol on the counters.

"Why aren't you ready Emma! It's your last night of freedom lets go hurry up!"

Mary Margaret ushered me up the stairs and into my room. She went back downstairs as i tried to pick out a dress. Although i was one month pregnant i wanted to dress in a way were they girls didn't suspect anything.
