Chapter Thirty: Disaster strikes

Emma's POV

A lot had happened in two months. Me and Killian confirmed the wedding date, August 16th and even having thoughts about kids. We knew it was still too early to try and have a result but for now its on the list of things we want to have in the future.

But our main concern was the wedding that was just more than three weeks away. I had my dress, Killian and the boys had their suits and we had finally picked out a venue.

The worse thing about all of this was my recovery. Although it had been 2 months of recovery, which was an amazing recovery which was easy and painless. It has made my nerves go crazy and i get angry very easily too. Which brought out the worst of me when Killian was trying to be funny. I've been keeping myself very cautious around him incase i snap at him too much.

"Emma!!"

I wake up on the couch to the sound of Killian's voice. I rub my head as he keeps repeating my name. I eventually get up and walk out to the backyard were he is sitting on a sun lounger in the scorching hot sun with his laptop.

"What do you want."

"Im guessing someone is a little grouchy."

"Im tired and stressed, what do you need?"

"I just wanted to see you love."

I sat down beside him and he closed over the laptop and set it on the table beside him. He hugged me as i sighed into his shoulder.

"I know your stressed. But i can put your mind at ease, i just got all the decor and flowers sorted and booked. One less thing to worry about."

"Thank you."

We walk back inside and Liam runs down the stairs.

"Emma! It's Henry he says his chest hurts!"

I look and Killian and run up the stairs to find Henry clutching his chest in pain and in tears.

"Phone 911 Killian!"

He pulls his phone out and dials it quickly and tells them what was happening.

"Did he take his meds while i was asleep?!"

"I dont know... I can't remember."

I make him comfortable and make his take his inhaler. The ambulance arrives and straight away gives him an oxygen mask. Like last time Killian took Liam in the car and i got into the ambulance.

We arrived at the hospital once again and they admitted Henry straight to the ICU incase he had an infection. They took some tests just as Killian arrived. I took him outside and he saw how angry i was.

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why did you not give him his meds! We wouldn't be in this mess!"

"I didn't know you were asleep! I thought he had already taken it!"

"So it's my fault now?!"

"Emma! I didnt say it was."

"Well it was someone! And we can't blame it on Liam!"
