23 October 2015
Meh, as you know, this was updated later because of the hectic days these days(??????? I don't even know what that means...). Anyway, here is it....
22-23 October 2015
Okay, so on 21 Oct we took a plane and ended up in THE NIAGARA FALLS!!! It's WORLD FAMOUS, you know(I really also think it's world famous for its outrageous number of ladybirds/ladybugs there. No offense). My parents bought a 48-hour pass, so we don't have to queue to buy tickets. Still, it's expensive...:3 We walked along the White Water Walk(I think that's the name) and walked along the Rapids. Don't try go swimming in there, it's Class 5(Translation: it's dangerous, needs guidance and could possibly k!ll you. Apparently "k!ll" is considered a bad word in Wattpad). Apparently, the Rapids we saw is half of the Rapids originally. The other half is diverted for hydroelectricity. So....if the full potential of the Rapids is unleashed.....you know what? You get the idea.
We boarded a "free" shuttle there and hopped onto a Hornblower boat, the only cruise there offering the Niagara Falls trip. Some of you might be thinking,"Huh? Isn't there also the Maid Of The Mist cruise?" I also got confused. Actually, there is still the MOTM, but we are still in Canada and MOTM is in America.
We got up close to the American Falls, Bridal View Falls(both are side by side, so some people BVF is part of the AF), and lastly...the HORSESHOE FALLS!!! The water for all waterfalls is beating the rocks/water so hard that they threw up mist and gave us a face wash(Translation: we got blasted face-first with water...). All of us wore raincoats with the hoodies resting on our heads. Unsurprisingly, the HF provided the most water for our face wash, since it's the biggest of the three. We are also lucky enough to catch rainbows above Niagara Falls in the two days there. The best one is when two rainbows are visible. Unfortunately, we are unlucky enough NOT to catch fireworks there cuz it only happens fifty nights in a year, and all of them are in the summer(wait, does summer consists of fifty days? IDK).
Anyway, we also managed to catch Niagara's Fury: The Creation Of The Falls. It's an extremely short(it's twenty minutes) 4D movie. Well....some parts are 4D.... Anyway, it also teach us how the falls are created(Duhhh, it's already in the title...I have to get rid of my habit of pointing out the obvious). At the last part, we have to wear raincoats(don't worry, they provide raincoats in all three activities, the last one I'm going to tell later), and experience Niagara's fury. Well...not exactly. If we experienced the real one we would be squashed to pulp, sort of. Anyway, you ALSO get wet here(all three activities are wet). Me, I had another face wash because I made the mistake of looking up when water starts to fall.
Okay, last activity! Journey Behind The Falls!! As the name says(how can a name speak???? I also don't know but that's the best phrase for it.....), we go behind the falls. It leads us to two viewing portals(Portals???? I don't think this is Minecraft...No offense...)where we can see what is behind all that water. At the last part, the mist suddenly swelled and got us all drenched. I got a face wash AND a hair wash. Apparently, it also threw up so much water that it rained on everyone on the upper viewing deck(you know, the place you first get a glimpse of the falls).
After that, we left City of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and drove right into City of Niagara Falls, New York. The Niagara Falls in the borderline between Canada and America, so it's easy. My mother had this idea of going shopping there and yeah, I'm here in the food court, typing this thing out.
So that's the end of my personal experience....I'm just going to type some stuff out here for no reason...
Some of you might be asking, "Why is the Niagara Falls so famous?? It's waterfalls aren't even the tallest!" That's very true, for the waterfall's height bit. You see, there are 500 waterfalls taller than it, but has little water volume. Niagara Falls, on the other hand, have massive amounts of water and together with its location, occasional sightings of rainbows, and it's beauty(that's what I think made it famous. If you want to know, got to Journey Behind The Falls, last place you will see Niagara Falls before you hit the viewing portals, walked down the stairs, read the signs and bang!), they created an awe-inspiring view and thus, made it famous.
Oh, and BTW, you might notice the pic above. That's Horseshoe Falls. It's taken on a Hornblower boat. If you look at the mist closely, you might see a shape that looks like upper body of a horse, kicking up its front feet. I just put in this pic because there's a horse in the mist, and the falls are called Horseshoe Falls.
