9 November 2015
As you had read from my previous entry, I went to Malaysia last week to visit my cousins. Here's a summary:
7-8 November 2015
We piled into the car some minutes before 6am. From then on, I just watched the scenery flash before me while my bros slept on. (There's nothing else to talk about the car ride.) When we reached my cousins' house, my bros hid in the car while the rest of my family brought the luggage to the house, as usual. (Reason: they don't want my youngest cousins to flood them with excitement.)
Fast forward to night time(I forgot what happened between morning and night XD, I remembered is another of my cousins taught Krysina to play Ed Sheeran's Photograph on guitar), we watched Minions in cinema mode (Translation: we watched it while the room lights are switched off).
After that, me and Krysina were "sleeping". We talked about an embarrassing or psycho thing we accidentally did. Krys' one was when she accidentally banged her knees against another guy. She considered it embarrassing, as what she did was extremely(I'm possibly exaggerating about it) clumsy and she's not the clumsy type. Mine was when I did the crazy thing back at the dessert corner.
Then, I tried to guess from the pictures in Krys' yearbook who is "cool, handsome and suave", which I must admit, I'm bad at it.
Fast forward to the morning. We went to District 21, an adventure park in a mall called IOI City Mall, I think. Since they only allowed sport shoes, I have to wear Krys' new school shoes. I also have to wear their own made gripper socks and gloves.
Once we entered District 21-Boot Camp For The Future, we immediately went for rock-climbing. There, I managed to win Krys in the rock climbing race in seconds, but that was because she accidentally fell down. We also tried a few other activities, but we could not do all of them as we all have to gather for the Power Slide. There, we have to grip onto a thing, and that thing will pull you up and when it stops, you have to let go of it. Quite hard, considering the height of where you are dropped. But again, you can't hold onto it forever. If you want to feel the full potential of the Power Slide, I suggest you close your eyes while the thing brings you up. That way, you won't let go of it while bringing you up.
After that, we went through the Maze, sort of. If you want to go there, wear kneecap protectors and possibly your helmet. Oh, and non-laces sport shoes if you want to play a game there.
Then, we went on the Tubby Ride and the Trampoline. At Tubby Riding, you just hold onto the tires for dear life while you plummet. Then, you have to drag the tires to the starting point. Well...dragging isn't fun, but at least the drop makes up for it. I'm not going to be surprised if you screamed on your first try. At the Trampoline, you just sort of bounce around. There, we actually made friends with two girls, Alice and Melody. We managed to play Catching there, right on the bouncy surface of it. Sadly, we have to split up when they have to go.
After that, we went Free Fall-ing. It's sort of like bungee jumping, except you don't face facedown and you don't bounce up again. I would have screamed on my turn, had there been anyway I could let air out of my lungs(I held my breath).
After that, we played "Maze Runner". It's like catching, except it is played in the Maze. Get it? Anyway, both my bros played as Hunters or Grievers or Cranks, while me, Krys and her bros are the Runners. We all managed not to get caught by them. But we didn't get away unscathed. Now, I am sporting some lovely bruises on my legs due to the hard floor.
When it is me and Krys' turn to be the Hunters(or Grievers or Cranks), I managed to hit my head against the ceiling, caught both of my bros, and did not manage to catch my youngest cousins. My bro said he was so slow because of his laces. They kept on getting stuck at the floor.
After that, we continued to play Tubby Ride. At the last moment, Krys and I decided to go and try Roller Glider. It is sort of like a zip line, except it has twists and turns and you have to hang on on the rollers. While on the Roller Glider, it is impossible not to be noisy. I think I screamed "Holy-" then the wind swept off the other words. At one turn, I was horizontal to the ground. Krys even managed to do a 360 turn on it.
All in all, I have 4 heart attacks there(Power Slide, Tubby Ride, Free Fall and Roller Glider). It's a good place to exercise and have fun, because I was caked in sweat and was grinning like a maniac. I suggest it's better to bring along friends, it's much more fun. Oh, and bring some RM too, there's food.
