Today, we have some kind of induction ceremony rehearsal. The day after today will be the induction ceremony, which will make me part of the school. -_-
Er..... I'm already part of the school but never mind.
Right.... So at the rehearsel most of the time I have to sit on the chair. And my chair's like 10 metres away from the stage. (More like 3 metres actually :3 )
At one point, my principal have to stand up and say some kind of speech at the stage.
At the induction ceremony.
Well, for the (only) rehearsel, a Malay teacher stood up from the principal's seat and walked onto the stage. And since my principal's surname sound Chinese, well....yeah.
(I'm not trying to be racist or anything. At that time I was very confused)
I heard stories of Chinese being adopted into a Malay family, so I guess its possible if its the other way round.
So when I saw it, I whispered to one of my classmates beside me, "Wait, that's (my principal)?"
Then the teacher-in charge suddenly turned around and said, "FOR NOW."
O_O
Well, I did not expect that answer.
Okay, another story now.
On my way back home (I was using the MRT), there was this elderly couple who got onto the train. The elderly woman sat at the reserved seat beside me (I will come to the reserved seat later) while the elderly man hobbled towards the seat opposite of that elderly woman.
At that exact moment, another man quickly dashed to that seat and sat down. When that elderly man pat him on the shoulder and pointed to the sign above, which says:
Reserved seat
(Well, there are pictures shown but I will put it in words)
Elderly
People with physical disabilities
Pregnant women
Women with young children
Then the man (the younger one) asked "Who's that?" After that, another man in a business suit offered his seat to the old man.
HAVE YOU HEARD OF SUCH CASES LIKE THIS?!?!
