Jessie’s POV

“Keith, can we talk?” I asked him. Nakaakbay pa rin siya sa akin. Medyo naiilang na nga ako eh… He’s my cousin from states. Sometimes, nagcha-chat kami sa skype. Siya ang tinuring ko na kuya, pero one thing lang ang ayaw ko kapag kausap ko siya, NAKAKA-nosebleed kaya teng! TT.TT

“Sure, let’s go.” Sabi niya at umalis kami papunta sa room namin. Wala kasing tao dun eh. Tahimik lang kami while naglalakad at nang, nakarating na kami sa room. Umupo kami sa mga chairs, alangan namang sa sahig diba?

“Keith, why did you say that to them?” tanong ko. I don’t really understand why he did that.

“I saw you… while you were talking to that guy.” –Keith… I knew it! Kapag si kuya Keith talaga. He knows it when I need his help.

“I knew you were about to cry. I saw your face, so I inserted and hugged you.” –Keith

“Thanks kuya, it’s just that…”

“Did he hurt you?” –Keith

“No, I mean, yes, kinda, but it’s not his fault. It’s mine. I knew he would never love me back but I chose to believe. I hate myself kuya! My heart chose to love someone who would never love me in return and what’s worse, he… he loves my best friend.” I was crying while I was saying that. Tapos, hinug ako ni kuya.

“Shhh… Maybe, there’s just a misunderstanding. I saw how he looks at you.” Sabi ni kuya… pero hindi ko narinig ang last na sinabi niya. Umiiyak pa rin ako habang he was patting my back.

“Kuya, have you ever loved someone that it hurts?” I asked him.

“Yes.” –Keith

“Hmmm… sana nadidiktahan ang puso…” sabi ko pero alam kong hindi niya naiintindihan iyon.

“Kuya, if I use my brain rather than my heart. Will I be happy?” I asked him.

“I don’t know, Jes, but sometimes, it’s up to us and to the situation. Did you tell him?” –Keith

“Tell him what?”

“…that you love him?” –Keith

“Uhhhmmm… No…”

“Well, you never tried your best.” Sabi niya sabay gulo sa buhok ko.

“Kuya, I want to go home. My tummy is aching.” Sabi ko

“Fine, then, I’ll accompany you to your house.” –Keith

“Ay! Kuya! No! I’ll just call my driver to bring the car here, and besides, you’re a visitor here, right? You just can’t leave like that.”

“Oh! Yeah, I forgot about that. Okay, I’ll just accompany you outside until you get inside your car.” –Keith

“Thanks kuya.” Sabi ko sa kaniya. Pagkarating namin sa parking lot ng school. Nakita ko si Alderic na naglalakad palabas ng school, sakto ring dumating ang car ko. Kakausapin ko nalang siya bukas.

“Kuya, bye, text me ha… or text dad or mommy.” sabi ko sa kaniya at sumakay na sa sasakyan.

I went home. Grabeh! Pag-uwi ko, sumakit lalo ang tyan ko… Huhuhuhu…

Gwen’s POV

“Ui, asan si Jessie?” tanong ko kay Shey.

“Ewan ko, bigla nalang kasing umalis kanina kasama si Keith. Baka nagmomoment ang dalawa. Haha.” –Shey
