“Guess who?” sabi ng familiar voice. Hmmmm… let’s see. The only guy who could do this to me is…

Alderic! YES! “Alderic!” sabi ko excitingly. He took his hands away from my eyes na… Tiningnan ko siya pero medyo blurry pa ang paningin ko and when it got clearer, hindi na talaga siya ang lalaking nakilala ko noon… He’s changed. He’s more attractive haha. “Uiiii! Ang gwapo mo na ngayon! Ang taas na!” Sabi ko sabay kurot sa pisngi niya. “Haha! Oo naman.” Sabi niya shyly… ew… hahaha. Joke… “Nag wo-work out ka ba?” sabay hampas sa tiyan niya. I can see he’s a little bit hurt haha. Medyo napalakas yata ang hampas. “Hoi! Kumusta naman ang America? I think it was already 2 years since I last saw you.” Sabi ko. “Yes! And now, I’m staying for good.” He said. UNEXPECTED.

“Wow! So, asan ka mag-aaral?”

“Sa school niyo. Sabay tayo.” Alderic

“Yehey! May friend na ako!”

“Wait, wala kang friends? I remembered Jessie noon. Grade 5 tayo nun.” Alderic

“Ah. I’ve changed a lot kasi.”

“Ahhhh. Yeah, I remember, sorry for that. How is she, your mom?” Alderic

“She’s still in that hospital.”

“Ah.” Alderic

“BTW, may dalawa na pala akong friends. Ikaw at si Seth.”

“Seth? Lalaki?” Alderic

“Ay hindi! Babae! Seth nga di ba?”

            We laughed and ate dinner with dad pero as usual hindi ko pinansin si papa. IDC. Tomorrow na daw mag sta-start sa school si Alderic at tsaka plano nilang bilhin ang bahay sa first right corner from our house pero for the meantime, he is staying here in our guest room. Best buddies talaga sila ni papa pero, he was mad when he knew what dad did. I can’t blame him.

“Matutulog na ako” Alderic

“Cge. Good night!”

“By the way, ipakilala mo ako sa Seth na iyan. I don’t trust his name.” Alderic

“Okay, magkakasundo kayo. I’m sure.”

.... And then, I went to sleep then…

NEXT DAY…

I was fixing my things when I heard a knock on the door and I directly knew who it was… Alderic… I opened the door for him and smiled.

“Tara! Sabay na tayo sa school.” Alderic

“Cge!”

I insisted to just walk to school pero of course hindi siya pumayag. We were talking papunta sa school when we passed by the tree kung saan ako palaging nag ste-stay… I saw Seth but before I could say “hi” to him, Alderic dragged me running, students were looking at us since, gwapo naman itong kasama ko. Parang fangirls naman ang mga babae habang astig astigan ang mga lalake. Eee? Really?
