Chapter 30 – Camp Trouble

Seth’s POV

“Miss me?”

What the hell? “Trish?” Nasambit ko kasi ang tagal na naming hindi nagkita. Nakakapanibago. Noon, sweater and pajamas ang suot nito. Ngayon, halos wala ng saplot. Lalaki rin ako pero may respeto ako kay Trish. Eh, paano kung narape ito sa labas? Haaay! “I think you didn’t miss me at all. Your reaction was far off my expectations. That is not a good thing.” Sabi niya. Haaay! Grabeh makaenglish! Manonosebleed nanaman ako! Hahahahaha. Actually, miss ko na itong babaeng ito. Miss ko ng tawagin siyang piggy. Namiss ko ang matapang na amoy ng pabango niya at ang piggy yakap niya kaya lumapit ako sa kaniya and I hugged her tightly. “O-ouch Seth! Wow! I miss that!” she said at tinanggal ko na ang pagkakayakap ko sa kaniya.

“I told you I would miss you, right?”

“Yes, you told me but you didn’t tell me it was that much!” sabi niya while smiling. That smile of hers. I miss that smile but I know there’s something wrong. I know her and something’s bugging her.

“Bakit ganiyan itsura mo?” tanong ko.

“What? This?” She asked me and she modeled around my room. I looked at her and well, ang ganda niya pa rin.

“No but yes. First, change your clothes. You look like someone who works in a bar. Second, don’t make me believe everything is alright. Tell me, what brought you here?” tanong ko sa kaniya. Okay lang pala makipagusap sa mga englishero at englishera kasi natututo ka rin kahit papaano.

“Haaay! Seth! This is the new style of today duh! And everything is alright! Nothing to worry about!” she said and smiled again. No! Mayroon talagang hindi tamang nangyayari.

“I know you. Nakikita ko sa mga mata mo oh! There will be a time na tutulo na iyan.” Sabi ko at as if on cue, tumulo nga ang luha niya pero napahiran na niya bago ko pa pahiran.

“I’m fine Seth.” –Trish

“Really? Huwag mo nga akong gawing tanga!”

“Okay, I am not fine, are you happy now?” –Trish

“No, ano ba talaga ang problema?”

“Mom, dad and everything. Let’s just not talk about this okay?” Ewan ko ba kung ano ang nangyayari kay Trish ngayon pero I heard some rumors na playgirl siya. Ayoko nga maniwala eh pero I think it’s true but I still love her… maybe it’s not what I felt for her before but I still love her as my friend.

“Piggy, dinumihan mo ang bed ko.” Sabi ko sa kaniya and she gave me that look she always does whenever I tease her years ago.

She was my first love.
