Bella

"Hey baby girl." I hug and kiss my little angel, she was awake smiling and giggling. "Happy little baby ain't you girl?" I kiss her some more. At five months she started reaching for my hair and earrings. "No Camille." I gently push her little hands away from my hair. I put her down in her bouncer and gave her the little rabbit teddy bear she stole from her brother. I hear him run into something in the living room. I hop up and go see what his lil bad ass done did now. "Dammit Cam!" I say after noticing that he broke a china piece my mama had on the living room table. The glass pieces was shattered all over the floor and he cut his hand. "Get yo bad ass in the bathroom!" I push him toward the hallway. He lowers his head and walk slowly toward the bathroom. After getting most of the glass up I meet him in the bathroom to clean his cut with alcohol and put a bandage on it. "Now break something else little boy." I tell him and he darts outta of the bathroom. I went to finish cleaning up the glass so I can start on my assignment for my Fashion class. The school gave us big ass sketch books to make our designs in and I had my first design due Thursday. I chose to sketch a dress, which was pretty simple. I've always had artistic skills just never used them. I make Camden sit down in his room and play with his toys while Camille chilled in the room with me as I got ready to make my first design.

I put the finishing touches on my design and held it up to admire it. I was a lil rusty on my skills but I know this class will help me freshen up. I check up on Camden who fell asleep on the floor with his toys so I picked him up and laid him in his crib. I heard the front door and went to greet my mama.

"I hardly ever see you now that you and Mr. Hartford done got serious." I fold my arms over my chest and examine her closely. She smiles and sits her bags down on the couch.

"Yeah well what can I say?" She digs through one of the shopping bags she brought in. "What you think about this?" She asks holding up a two piece bikini set. I almost swallow my own tongue looking at that thing.

"Is it for me?" I ask and she smacks her lips.

"Everything ain't gotta be for you girl, you gotta job. It's mine." She says.

"Yours? For what?" She smiles like a little teenage girl who just got asked out on prom or some shit before turning to tell me what she had on her mind.

"Manny's taking me to Jade Mountain Resort tomorrow!" She shouts. I move closer to her in disbelief. "This is my first vacation somewhere other than your grandparents house in Atlanta. And speaking of them they're coming tonight so you won't have to be here by yourself with the babies." She informs me but I'm still beyond shocked that she's going somewhere fun.

"Wow. You know that's South America right?" I asked.

She shrugs, "I don't know. And don't care." I can see the excitement in her and I didn't wanna ruin her fun so I let her have it. "I'm leaving in a few hours so we can get on this jet of his." She grabs her bags.

"Must be nice having a governor as a boyfriend." I tease.

"Our relationship is still very private. He doesn't want people to know that he and his ex-wife got a divorce it a be bad on his reputation." She walks past me and I pull her into a quick hug.

"Be safe mama." I tell her and she kisses my forehead.

"Always baby. Now let me go pack." She squealed.

"UGH! You act like you never really been nowhere before." I head back to my room just as the doorbell rings.

"Your grandparents are early!" She yells from her room. I head downstairs to answer the door. I put on a big smile for grandma and papa but it disappears when I see a bloody, bruised up Mia in the doorway.
