The Hair

You drop the crutches on the floor and close door behind you. You hobble over to the bathroom door at which Kirstie had already opened. She had unloaded everything you had brought that had to do with hair.

"Since you have a strapless dress I suggest leaving most of your hair down. Maybe up slightly but not all the way." She tells you. You laugh. "I think that I know the concept of necklines and hair. Like I said. Being an actor has it's perks. Especially when I used to have to do my own hair and makeup." She shrugs.

"I still think I should at least do your hair. You can do the makeup I just wanted to give you tips. Its easier to do hair on someone else." She grins.
"Yeah it is." You answer. She points to the chair at the part of the counter that's lower than the rest. The vanity area. She pull a bigger barrel curling iron. "Good choice." She smiles at the complement.

"First I'm going to curl all of your hair with the thicker barrel curling iron. I'll figure out the rest from there." You nod while sitting down on the small stool. She pulls your hair out of its pony tail. The first thing you notice is how disgusting it is. "I should take a shower."

"Can you take a shower with a cast on?" You nod your head. "He said I can take the wraps off long enough to take a shower and that the material was waterproof."

"Okay. Call me in once your dressed again." And with that she walks out of the bathroom closing the door behind her. You scoot the stool over and lock the door so no one could get in. You undo the wrap on your leg and start to undress.

As you take off the other wrap you wince in pain. It still hurt. And it looked worse. The bruise was starting to change colors already and was growing in size. It was disgusting to say the least.

You look away and turn on the water as hot as you would be able to stand it. As you climb in the hot water hits the edge of the bruise. You clench your teeth in pain and ignore it. You grab the soap and start to wash your body and hair.

You call for Kirstie as you had gotten redressed after the shower. It had taken you about a half hour but you were clean. And its not like you were on a tight schedule or anything.

"Sure took you long enough. Let's get your hair dry." She immediately sits you down on the stool as soon after she closes the door behind her. She grabs the blow dryer and plugs it into the wall.

Before she starts it she pulls out the attachments and sets them on the counter. She turns the dryer on warm and high. It doesn't take her too long to get your hair dry, but before it is she turns it on cool, low, and puts one of the attachments on it.

Right as she starts to run the comb thing through your hair you hand her a bottle of leave in conditioner. "My hair is still gonna get frizzy unless you use this." She shrugs and takes it out of your hand, setting the hair dryer down. She coats your whole head in it and then goes back to her previous routine.

Once she's done she unplugs the dryer and plugs in the curling iron. "I'm going to curl most of your hair and pull part of it back some how. You don't have any preferences do you?"

"As long as it doesn't get in my way and has some of it up I'm okay. I think I might fall asleep while your doing my hair so it will probably be a surprise to me." You tell her yawning.

"You can't fall asleep." She says. You grin slightly. "Only coffee can change that." She laughs and picks up the iron. It was fully heated and she sets to her hair rituals. You half pay attention to what she's doing but before she even has half of your head curled you let your eyelids droop and you zone out. Not asleep but close to it.

You were hoping if would only take about 30 minutes but about an hour later she snaps in front of your face. You sit up straight. "Done."

You look into the mirror and at your hair. You had to admit you were impressed. And putting your humble self aside, you looked good.

Kirstie had taken the hair from the far right side of your head over and curled it parting it over. The rest of your hair was in a large fishtail braid tight against your head. It almost made it look as if you didn't have any hair. But it suited you.

One thing you noticed, seemed pretty obvious. "Hey Kirtsie, is my hair supposed to look like-" she cuts you off mid-sentence. "Yes. I made your hair look like Mitch's on purpose. I thought it would be cute if you both matched." You let out a huge smile and give her a hug. "Thank you."

A/N : Hey guys. Sorry this chapter is about 100 words shorter than normal. To me that is short but whatever. I got home from the chiropractor and was opening wattpad so I could edit more from what I had while I was there. But I'm guessing since I didn't have WiFi that it didn't save. I lost over 700 words of the original chapter. Gone. After calming myself down I rewrote it. Hope you liked it. Sorry.
