Chapter 45: Adjusting

Roger woke up early the next morning to get ready for his usual morning run. Finally I curled more into our sheets. My twin heads downstairs to go out the back door. A few minutes after that BD are let out by Abby. They ran down the beach together.

Within minutes our coffee pot is brewing for the house, my hot chocolate is made, and two glasses of apple juice are put out for the girls. Mom started cooking breakfast at our stove. I am dressed and downstairs. The kitchen is set by the team. George and the girls arrived at the house. Roger came through the back door greeting everyone else while getting a water bottle from the fridge. Before going upstairs pulls me aside "Are you sure that your ready to do this Mimi?" he asked. "Yes I am positive Mike, I replied to him."

Roo walks up to me and says "Good Morning Cuddly." Morning Roo, I replied to him with a kiss. Our family looked at us first then each other. Soon after that my twin came into the room again. "When did they became all chummy again?" the mentioned. "Yesterday after her back started hurting again," all three of us answered in unison. As for Mike he kisses my forehead and my big sisters lips.

Breakfast is promptly served at 8:00 am. Everyone dished out their food to eat. The team sat between our table and the island. Mike and I are by the window sitting in our new favorite spot. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put the dirty dishes in our sinks.

Everyone grabs their stuff while mentioning goodbyes to each other. The team heads out the front door to the cars and trucks that morning. Both our driveway and house are vacant. Mike stops by the office to drop off the girls. As for George and I went straight to our mission site. The girls spent some time with Juan.

He is busy getting to know them and show Mel around her new home. As for my goddaughter is enjoying her tour with Fiona. Meanwhile with George asking me how I am doing right now. Soon my phone starts ringing with incoming calls and even buzzing with texting messages. Everyone else is busy right now checking up on me. I really like that just because it shows how much they love me.

On our way back to the house we stopped by the office to pick them up. We greeted Juan in unison. I gave each of them a hug. Mel went straight for George. She is attached to him like a daughter will be to her dad. All of us exchanged our greetings to each other.

Later on finally we are Graceland bound again that day. He pulls into our driveway to park his car and open our doors for us. Seconds after that I did the same thing with our house door. As for George he closes it after we came inside that afternoon.

We sat down on the couch together in order to cool off with drinks. I went upstairs to take a quick bath and change. My family came home from work within that time. Seconds later I returned to our family room. Everyone exchanged their greetings to each other. George and the girls went back to his place.

Lunch is promptly served at 12:00 pm. Everyone dished out their food to eat. The team sat down at the table in their assigned seats. Roger and I are over by the window overlooking the beach. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.

I went up to our room to put on my favorite hat. Mike is not too far behind me. He walks into the room. Mimi you still has that hat. Of course I didn't want to throw it away.

Roger: Do you want anything?

Me: yes

Roger: Cupcakes

Me: no try again. Use that 1700 Brainic.

Roger: okay

Mimi: I like when you make them

Roger: my s'mores

Both of us head downstairs into the kitchen. " Where are you two kids going?" dad asked. He's going to make me s mores on the beach.

Mom started to cook dinner at our stove. The team sets our kitchen table together. As for Nat she puts out our place settings on the island. Seconds after that we came back inside again to join our family. I thought that she told us that she didn't like baseball. Yes she did but I turned her into one when we lived in New York hence the hat on her head, Roger answered.

Dinner is promptly served at 6:00 pm. everyone dished out their food to eat. The team sat down at the table assigned seat. Mike and I are over by the window. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.

I cleared off the table and cleaned the counters. My sisters unpacked the dishes to put them away. Roo washes the dishes to refill it. As for Mom she is overlooking all of this craziness. The guys are getting our cooler with drinks and ice.

Later on we head out the back door that night. All of us went down to the beach. It's finally bonfire time for the day. Drinks are passed around the circle. The stars are shining brightly above as the fire crackled in front of us.

Story time begins with Roo telling us a very entertaining one. Everyone sat there drinking and laughing. I am in between Roger and Pumpkin Pie. Yeah of course making sure that I am comfortable. Both of them even stuck in a kiss.

Moments after the first story finished around our bonfire. I went up the shore back to the house in order to throw away my juice box in trash can. Upon my arrival to our room I changed into my jammies. Mike followed suit behind me putting his bottle in the sink. He went upstairs to take his bath. Our laptop and my notes from the mission to type up.

Roger sat down next to me on the chaise. I am looking at the screen intently. " When are we going to start sitting on the couch again?" he asked. " I don't know right now, I answered him." Mimi takes a quick break you've been typing for a while. He took over for the next forty five minutes. Both of us kept switching until all of my notes are finished typing.

Our family came inside dragging the cooler with them. Most of them put their empty bottles in our sink. As for Nat she just threw her juice box in the bin and took the stuff from me to take it upstairs. They head straight to their rooms for baths to get ready for bed. Mike and I just sat there watching the wave's crash out the window.

Within minutes our t v is turned on. The team is settled on the couch. Pumpkin Pie decides to sit with us. We watched t v shows together. Everyone stood up to say goodnights to each other. Roger kissed me on the forehead. As for the team did it on my cheeks.

I went upstairs to our room to get in bed with Pedro. My twin follows the lead that I left in the family room. A few more t v shows. Soon after that the t v set and family room light are turned off. Once they were finished with that head to their separate rooms. Everyone else meets up with me in dreamland that night.
