Chapter 66: Family Game Night

The sun peeked through  it's  clouds to stream into our big brothers  room. Roger woke up to  get ready for his usual morning run. He walked downstairs and  out the back door to stretch. Soon after that he was on the beach. BD joins him within minutes wanting his pet. They enjoyed this time  together.

All of us are now waking up to get the day started. I took a quick  bath  to get ready for work. Seconds later I went into our kitchen to brew a pot of coffee for the house and mixed my hot chocolate.  All the mugs, glasses, and my tumbler are on the island. Roo is next in the kitchen greeting " Good Morning Cuddly." I replied to him "

Mom starts to cokking breakfast at our stove with her coffee on the counter. The team sets our kitchen table together. I took out the place settinga to put them on the island. Within minutes our doorbell rang to alert us that someone is  at our front door. Fiona, Mel, and the guys came in through two different doors. Roger grabbed a water bottle from our fridge. He went upstairs to take his shower that morning. Soon after he is back to give us our kisses in their respected places on our bodies.

We both  took out our phones to dial Juan and Abby phone numbers. Our phones are now on speaker waiting for each of them to answer.

A: Abby
J: Juan

AJ: Hey Mike and Tia
Us: Hey guys
AJ: " How are you?"
Us: Good and you
AJ: same here
Juan: I am at the Bureau
Us: okay
Abby: just chilling with BD
Us: of course
Me: Family Game Night
Abby: What game are we playing tonight?

Me: Candyland for Jakes
Jakes: Yay
Fiona: What time?
Me: 7 pm
AJ: Bye we'll see  you later
Us. Bye

Breakfast is promptly served at 8:00 am. Everyone dished out their foo to eat. The team sat down in their assigned seats at the couch. Island, and table. Roger and I sat over by the  windows in our living room. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.

The group grabbed their stuff while mentioning goodbyes to each other. We head out the front door that morning. Soon after that all  of us went to the cars and trucks. Our driveway and house are left vacant. Most of us head off to work in our different directions.

George and I were doing some running around that day for our houses. Meanwhile  Fiona and them met up with Abby. Everyone else is busy working on their own missions. I did the list for Graceland. As for George he also did one  for his place. Soon after that all of the errands are finished.

He took me over by him for a few minutes to drop off his stuff. I went straight to Mel's room to see it. Graceland bound once again for that afternoon. Later on he parked his car in our driveway again. Both of us got out of it to walk up to the house with bags in our hands. I opened our front door for us to go into our house. My body guard closes it behind him.

Soon after that both of us split up that afternoon. George went into our kitchen in order to put away our  groceries and get some snacks for us. I turned on the t v to find something to watch. My body guard joins me on the couch. We kicked off our shoes to relax together.

I went upstairs to take a quick bath to change. The team got home from work. Everyone ekse greeted each other in our family room. Minutes after that I  returned to spend sometime with them. Fina, Mel, and the guys left in their separate directions home.

Lunch is promptly served at 12:00 pm. Everyone else dished out theie food to eat. As for Fiona's guys they waited for their food to arrive at their table. The team sat down in their assigned seats. Roger and I are on the couch using our coffee table for our food. We ate together like one big happy family. Jesse and his friends paid for their meal and left their dishes on the table. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks. 

Within minutes after that all of us went in our separate directions.  I am looking over my case file again. This is some what fun for me.  Roo walks into our room to sit down on our bed. He came to keep me company for a little while. I knew that you have more experience then my twin but why do you always act like a kid.

Cuddly, This is why I always act like a kid because I am what sticks this dysfunctional family of ours together. Okay I see that and understand it. You started the whole teddy bear thing. Of course I did that was Levi's first hospital trip. "Does he still hace that teddy somewhere?"I asked. " Maybe I haven't seen it since I left it in his hospital room that day," Roo answered.

Our mom is cooking dinner in our kitchen at the stove. The team sets our kitchen table together.  I took out our place settings to put them on the island.  We hang out around the kitchen.  The kitchens are smelling really good right now. Our meals are in their final minutes on the stoves.

Dinner is promptly served at 6:00 pm.  Everyone else dished out their food to eat.  Fiona's guys waited for their order. The team sat down around the tables in their assigned seats  Roger and I sat on the couch using our coffee table for our. food
We ate together like one big happy family. The guys paid for dinner and left their dishes on the table. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.

All of us broke up into our usual boys vs girls groups that night. My sisters cleared off the tables and wiped down every surface. As for mom she unpacked the dishwasher. Roo washes the dishes to refill it with the wet ones. We throw out the trash together and came in again x to wash our hands. Daddy and Jakes got all the drinks ready for our game night.

Everything is put back in its regular places. I ran upstairs to get the game. Our guest arrived at 7:00 pm on the dot. They are let into the house.  Later on I returned with the game in my hand. Everyone greeted each other that night.

Master of accents you do the honors tonight. He explained to us how to play the game. The entire team splits into two groups. Each of team chose a team captain. Our two team captains are: Jakes and Jesse.  As for the team names are: Team California vs Team Florida.

Seconds after that we sat on opposite sides of the board.  We gave the other team more players.

Our youngest players rolled the first dice for each team. Later on it continued through both teams. It went on like that for the night.  Once everyone had a turn it started over again.

A short break is taken to get refills.  Drinks are passed around the board.  Jokes are told as more secret nicknames are revealed. Master of accents wants a couple more rounds because candy themed games are his favorite. We already have a sugar rush. " You're trying to give us diabetes too Jakes," we complained.

My extended family stuck around to help us clean up the family room. Fiona, Mel, Abby, and the guys exchanged their goodbyes to us. They head back to their houses or hotel. Our board game goes back upstairs.  Soon after that we settled down in front of the tv. 

Roo chose something to watch on our t v from the box. Once a month we have a scheduled family game nights. " Candy land is no longer on the list Jakes. Don't even start to whine about it because we aren't going to play it," I told him.  You know to put down your foot down Joey. I learned that from mom.

During a long commercial we stretched our legs. Everyone mentioned their goodnights to each other. Roger gave me the usual forehead kiss.  The team followed his cue just changing the location to my cheeks. Minutes after that I am already over by the staircase.

I went upstairs to our bedroom to get in bed with Pedro. As for the team they are still watching tv in the family room. Our tv sets and family room lights are turned off. All of them tip toed upstairs to their separate room.  Nat walks into ours for her dolphin. Everyone else joined the in dreamland that night.
