Chapter 79: Trip

As the sun peeked from behind the clouds to stream into my brother's room. Mike woke up to get ready for his usual morning run. He went downstairs and out the kitchen door to stretch. Later on he is finally on the beach. BD joins him waiting for his pet. They enjoyed this time together.

Our house is alive and noisy now. I took a quick bath to get ready for the day ahead of me and make some of the bed. Pumpkin Pie brews some coffee for them to drink and mixes my hot chocolate. She left it on the island for me in my tumbler. We exchanged our greetings to each other. I took out the mugs and glasses.

Mom is cooking breakfast at our stove with her mug on the counter. The team sets our kitchen table together. I took out our place setting. Our doorbell rings that morning. Fiona, Mel, and the guys came in through two different doors.

As for Roger he grabbed a water bottle from our fridge. He went upstairs for a shower. Pumpkin Pie trailed behind him knowing that he had something to tell her. She is sitting on his bed waiting for him to come out of the bathroom. Mimi will probably use Junior again don't tell John about that he will flip. I told her that she could sleep here," he told his girlfriend. I know Rock Star. She is going to miss you a lot," my big sister told him.

Soon after that breakfast is promptly served at 6:00 pm. Everyone dished out their food to eat. The team sat in their assigned seats between the island and table. Mike and I are sitting on the couch using the coffee table for our food. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sink.

The group grabbed their stuff while exchanging their goodbyes to each other. Roger gave me the usual forehead kiss. I didn't want to let go of him. Later we head outside the front door to lock it. All of us went to the cars and trucks. Our driveway and house are vacant now. We head in our different directions that morning.

Both of us are hanging out with the girls that day. Mike heads straight to the airport. He parks his care there and checks in. Roger is relaxing in the terminal. Boarding time begins very soon for New Mexico. Everyone is now sitting down on the plane to ascend.

His flight went smooth that morning. Before you know it the plane landed at Albuquerque International Sunport. The passengers got off the plane. It's pilot and crew members thanked them all for riding with them. Everyone went through customs and immigration.

Next stop for them is the baggage claim to get their suitcases. The crew hanged out for a little while before boarding their next plane. As for Mike got a car to drive to the closest hotel in that area. He checked in and got a room.

Graceland bound for us that afternoon. Fiona parks in our driveway next to his car. We get out of her car. As for Mel checks our mailbox. I opened the front door to our house for us to go inside. George closes the door behind us.

The four of us put down our stuff on the couch. George went into the kitchen to get drinks and snacks. As for Fiona and Mel helped me find something to watch on t v. Our shoes are kicked off. We are relaxing together.

I went upstairs to take a quick bath. The team came home from work. Everyone else greeted each other in our family room. Within minutes I am now back in the room. George and the girls mentioned their goodbyes to us. They head straight to his place.

Lunch is promptly served at 12:00 pm. Everyone dished out their food to eat. The team sat in their assigned seats at the table. I moved closed to them that afternoon. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.
