Joey caught my sudden stop. "Nicole? What's wrong? Are you o-" He looked towards my stare, "Ooooooo, they don't look happy."

"Are you her father?" Asked Ms. Patricia.

"Um no, I'm her legal guardian," said Billie. That was a lie. I knew he wasn't my legal guardian. Or at least not legal.

"Oh f**k," I whispered under my breath. I slouched on the couch so Billie or the guys couldn't see me, but I knew he already saw me.

"Did you, like, sneak out?" Asked Joey.

"No, they're just mad for no reason." I said, sarcastically.

"So you DID sneak out. Bad girl. I like it." Said Joey.

"Just shut the hell up and hope they don't see me." I said.

"Fine, jeez. It was meant as a complement." I looked back and saw Tre look around in wonder. I saw him smirk and sneak off to the 2nd floor. I watched as he got in the elevator and caressed the carpets. I laughed to myself. I watched as Freese went over to the grand piano and started playing. I looked at White and Mike. They sneaked over to the second floor, too. I laughed to myself. When Billie finally got me, he would have to go get them too. And that would be hard. I laughed to myself, knowing that it would be a long time until we got out of here. The only problem was, I laughed a little too loud and Billie heard me. He started glaring at me. Shit. I'm screwed.

"Where have you been, Nikki?!" Asked Billie, "You had me and the guys worried to death! Your're just happy Elizabeth isn't here! She would've beat the shit out of you. Just be happy your mother doesn't even KNOW about this! C'mon we're going home!" He grabbed my arm arm and dragged me from the couch and headed towards the door. "C'mon Mike, Jasons and Tre." Then he noticed they weren't there, "guys?" He looked around, "You'v e got to be kidding me!" He said, as he ran his fingers through his hair, frustrated, "Do you know where the hell they went?" I shook my head, lying. He ran his fingers through his hair again. I saw Ms. Patricia just stare. I laughed. "C'mon we're going to look for 'em." Said Billie, grabbing my wrist and dragging me to the elevator.

When, I was being dragged away, Joey said, "Bye, Nicole!"

"Call me Nikki!" I managed to say, just before the elevator doors closed. Billie looked concerned.

"Who the fuck was that?" He said. Some people snickered, not knowing who he was, but some others pointed and gasped.

"Joey Fetch, like, the most popular boy in the whole school, who just so happened to talk to ME," I said, twirling my hair.

"I don't want you around him," said Billie.

"C'mon, Billie," I said, "Don't be THAT kind of person. Just because of what happened with my dad doesn't mean you're instantly going to become my dad."

"I'm not trying to become your dad," said Billie, "And why don't you want me as your dad?"

"Uh because you're my idol and favorite band not my dad." I said in a duh tone.

"Well, just stay away from him."

"What conversation did we just have?" I said.

"I know I'm not your dad, but that doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. I can tell he's a player. All he will do is break your heart."

"And how would you know?" I asked. He looked pretty nervous.

"Oh look floor two!" He said dragging me out of the elevator.
