The crackle of words over the intercom is cut off at times. It's fairly simple to re-add the letters lost in the fray of electrical failings. Only when the lights shut off do the inhabitants of the building begin to scream.

They call him Beckett.
The Pulse
Blood is thicker than water, we know,
It falls by the blade, taints the snow.
The one to shed it can do all of two things:
They can break one's skin, or break their own.

"Riddle me this, bitch."
