(F/n)'s POV

Nathan ran into the room and forcefully removed Rani's hands from my neck. I fell to the ground, coughing and catching my breath.

"Why didn't you shout?!" He furrowed his brows at me. "Because she was telling me useful information while she was choking me." I answered after I was breathing normally again.

"And your minutes are up, so you have to go." He helped me up. I noticed a small blush on his cheeks when our hands touched.

'Now Nathan? I definitely don't want another God damn boyfriend after this.' "Thanks." I mumbled when I was standing up again.

Nathan escorted me out and I got on (h/n). "So where are you going now, since you said you left the scouts?" He asked when I adjusted the reins.

"Not sure. Wherever the wind takes me I guess. But I would like to find out if my parents are still alive." I replied, looking down at him.

"Did they go missing?" He tilted his head to the side. "Yeah, at the fall of Shiganshina." I answered. "You're from Shiganshina? Wow, that's amazing!" He exclaimed.

"Yup, I get that a lot." I chuckled. "Hey..um..if you want help finding them, I can do it." He grinned. "Really, you'd do that?"

"Yeah, it's not a problem at all!" He smiled. "Wow, that would mean a lot to me! Thanks." I smiled back. "What are their names?" He asked.

"Elise and Seth (l/n)." I answered. "Ok cool, I'll start right away!" He waved bye before walking back to his post he was stationed at to guard.

I waved back and (h/n) started to trot away. 'Hm..I didn't think about where we were going to stay for tonight.' I sighed as we rode down the streets of wall Rose.

While I was riding, I saw a gang of drunk bastards in an alley way. I pulled my Survey Corp's hood up on my cloak and looked down, trying not to make contact with them.

"Look here fellows, what's a scout doing in wall Rose at this time of night?" I heard one of them say. 'Shit, I'm screwed.' I kept my gaze on the ground, snapping the reins to make (h/n) go faster.

Which (he/she) refused to do. 'Dammit, horse! I should have brought Jean instead!' I ignored them for now, until I got a bit further away.

"Looks like you're a far way from home!" One of them snickered. 'Remember what mom taught you; ignore, don't make eye contact, yell if you're caught, kick them in the balls and run.'

I thought of what my mother taught me if I was ever in trouble. I felt something grab my cloak, and pull me off of my horse. My reflexes came out of nowhere and I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.

"OW! Fucking brat!" He let go of my cloak and fell to the ground, blocking his crotch. I backed away from him, getting into a fighting stance in case he tried to attack.

I felt a pair of hands grab my wrists and pull me back. "LET GO OF ME, FUCKER!" I shouted, flailing my legs around.

I kicked him in the shin a few times to make him let go of me. I started to run, and (h/n) was running away as well. 'Screw (h/n), I don't have time to catch (him/her) to ride away on.'

I ran as fast as my legs could go. But when I was running past another alley, I felt a painful force on my face and I only remember blacking out.

3rd Person POV

As (f/n) was running past an alley, one of the gang members punched her in the face at the right timing. (F/n) was immediately knocked out, and fell to the ground.
