*First person pov*

Well, that was pathetic. It was Choji's match and he completely failed. Choji was laying in a crater in the wall, made by him. He was totally knocked out. "Winner! Dosu Kinuta!" Hayate announces. The medics came and took Choji away, and he was murmuring about meat in his sleep. Hayate coughs and steps up to speak. "Well, with this, the preliminary trials for the round three test is completed!" Hayate says and we step down from the steps, so he can explain to us what will happen next. "Daddy, you're the best! Keiko thinks Daddy is awesome!" Keiko giggles. I smile and I face Hayate, to receive the directions. "To all of you who won the rights to compete in the "Third Round Test" in the chunin exams. *Cough* Though one is missing but congratulations to all of you! Hokage-sama, would you please?" Hayate says. "Yes." Grandpa says, turning to us. "Well, now I'd like to start explaining the main test. As I told you before, in the main event, your match will be seen by everybody. Each of you will fight to represent the strengths of your countries. I'd like you to show off your powers with no reserves. Which is why the finals will be held one month from now." Grandpa explains. Naruto wore an irritated expression. "We're not going to do it here and now?" Naruto says, pointing at Grandpa. I bonk him on the head. "It's rude to point." I state plainly. He playfully glares at me and turns to Grandpa. "This break, you can say, will be for preparations." Grandpa answers Naruto. Neji steps up. "What does that mean?" He asks. Grandpa went into full explanation and I zone out. "Daddy?" Keiko asks. I hum in response. "Keiko is wondering who is the old man on the stage thing?" Keiko asks. "Oh, you mean Grandpa? He is the leader of the village, a very powerful person, far more powerful than Lee, or anybody in this room. Not even me, can take him down." I tell her. Her eyes widen surprise. "That old man is the leader? And he is my Grandpa?" Keiko asks. "Yeah, Grandpa is the leader of this village, Hokage. There are others like him like... Raikage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage.... Kazekage." I say the last part really quietly, so Gaara doesn't hear. It probably is a taboo subject around him, and I don't want to take the chance. "Grandpa isn't your Grandpa by blood, but I just call him Grandpa, because he asked me to. I don't think he would mind if you called him Grandpa." I say to her. She nods happily and turns to Hokage, with admiring eyes. Anko comes around with a box with pieces of paper. I pull out a piece that said '10'. "Alright, you all took a piece. Now then, I'd like you to tell us the number on that paper, starting from the left. "It's 8." The sound nin replies. "I got 1." Naruto replies as well. "10 for me." I say and Keiko echoes my answer. Everybody else said their number. "That would mean he's number 4." Ibiki says, referring Duckbutt. "Alright, now I will reveal the final tournament to you!" Grandpa announces. "That's why we drew numbers?!" Shikamaru yells. I don't know why they are all surprised, wasn't it obvious? "Now Ibiki, will you show them the match arrangements?" Grandpa asks. Ibiki flips the board around that he was drawing on and showed us the matches. Uzumaki Naruto vs Hyuuga Neji, Gaara vs Uchiha Sasuke, Kankuro vs Aburame Shino, Temari vs Dosu Kinuta, Nara Shikamaru vs Heartfilia Ciel. I shudder. Shit, I'm fighting Shikamaru? That's the last guy I want to fight, not because he is strong, but he is really smart and he will easily outsmart me. I glance at said person. He glances at me at the same time and I look away. "Well then, you're free to start strategizing or resting as you like. With this, I'll dismiss you but are there any final questions?" Grandpa asks. Shikamaru raises his hand and Grandpa calls on him. "Since it's a tournament, it would mean only one winner, right? Which means that only one person can only be chunin, doesn't it?" Shikamaru asks. Grandpa began another one of his long ass explanations and I zone out again. I do that a lot don't I? I realize everyone was leaving so I leave. I feel Keiko tug on my hair. Hard. "Ow, ow, ow! What?" I ask Keiko. "Keiko wants to eat dango! Gaara has to come too!" Keiko yells, while pulling on my hair harder. "Ok, ok! Let's find Gaara and see if he wants to come with us. If he doesn't want to come, don't force him." I tell her. Keiko points in a direction, and pulling my hair in the same direction. "That way!" Keiko yells. "I got it, I got it, chill." I say as I turn in the direction where Keiko was pointing and there he was. Gaara was standing there, looking smexy as hell. I walk over to him. "Hey, want to come and eat dango with us? Keiko won't stop bothering me about dango and bringing you. And, I want to bring you on my own accord. So wadda ya say, dango or naw?" I ask him, expecting a no. He looks at me for a second and then at Keiko then back to me. He turns away and looks ahead. "...Sure..." Gaara replies. I was a little taken back, because he was supposed to be a emo panda, for now. I straighten up. "Okie dokie then! The dango is on me!" I say, smiling and thumbing towards myself. I start walking and I turn back to look at Gaara, who was still standing in the same position. "Well, what are you waiting for! Let's go, Gaara!" I exclaim. Keiko mimics me. Gaara gives me a slight nod and I start walking and he trails behind me.
