Chapter 72

*First person pov*

I felt power, not from the spell arms. I felt new and improved. I open my eyes and a words spew out of my lips. "Nocte Carina!" I yell as my vision was inverted. I look back at my opponent. There he is! I grab a kunai from my pouch and charge at him. Then I get a flash. It is me trying to stab him but he uses his right leg to kick the kunai out of my hand. I get back into reality. I get near him and see his right leg come up. I dodge it and I stab him. He lets out a scream. Then I get another flash. He grabs the kunai out of his stomach and uses it against me. Then back to reality. He reaches for the kunai in his stomach but I punch him. I was going to continue attacking him until Kakashi appeared and stopped me. "Stop! The match is already over!" Kakashi shouts. My vision turns back to normal. "Huh? Kakashi?" I say, but before I can continue a huge force tackles me to the ground. "CIEL YOU ARE ALIVE!!" Naruto yells, full out sobbing. I pat his head. "Hey, what happened? Who won the match? Wasn't I always alive?" I ask. "Ciel, you were put in a genjutsu that has a 99% chance of not surviving." Kakashi says. My eyes widen. "What!? I thought I was just reliving my worst nightmare, the memory that a spider was playing peekaboo under my dresser!" I lied. Hey, I wasn't supposed to remember my past. "But you didn't answer my question. Who won?" I ask Kakashi. "Well, Akio is going to announce that in a second." Kakashi says, turning to the guy, who was holding his stomach from bleeding anymore. "He... passes." the guy says. Naruto once more tackled me to the ground. "You did it Ciel! You Passed!" Naruto yells. I chuckle as I get up. "Winner! Heartfilia Ciel!" Hayate announces. I start walking to the steps but get stopped by a medical nin. "Come with us Ciel. We will get your wounds healed." He says. I look at him with a 'seriously' look. "Does it look like I am injured? Go treat the other guy, what's his name... Akio? Yeah him." I say. They nod and leave. I start up the steps again but get stopped by Kakashi. "What was that jutsu you used back when you woke up and attacked Akio?" Kakashi asks. I shrug. "I don't know, it was like a reflex. Why do you ask?" I ask him. "Because your eyes... it was like a starry sky. Like a dojutsu, like sharingan. What did you do? Is it from the book?" Kakashi asks. I shrug again. "Nope, never read it in the book. I didn't do anything. Like I said, it was like a reflex. You can't control it." I say as I walk pass him and up the stairs. Pinky was up there with Keiko. "Hey, can I have Keiko back?" I ask her. She nods and hands her to me. She was still sleeping peacefully, not disturbed a bit. "She's cute, isn't she?" Pinky says. "Yeah..." I agree. I yawn. "Okay, I'm going to take a nap. Wake me up when it's Lee's turn to fight. I want to watch it." I say. "EHH!? You are going to sleep?!" Naruto says. "Yeah." I say as I sit down and lean against the wall for support. I mumble a goodnight and I fall into a deep slumber.
