Never ending road
Always shaded smiles
Green doubting eyes
Finger tearing jitters
Lip biting worry
Hidden blades
White lies
Save them from my darkness
It booms inside
And they will never know
Last night's terror
Is still stained on my soul
Its voice, I am reminded of
It was there when I was young
And now its back
To bite my tongue
I had forgotten of its power
And now its voice
makes me cower
Its hands press against the insides of my fair skin
It longs to get out
Of the cage that I am
Bars of rubber
Stiff as my back
Eyelashes fall like snow
And the sun will rest
in the hills tonight
While I toss and turn with it
Trying to sabotage my every breath
Its voice, murderous
Screaming words I don't understand
But I know all odds are against me
I slice my skin
To try to give it a passage out
But im trapped
