My heart is like the moon
Straining to keep bright
While surrounded by darkness
There are men that walk upon it
Planting flags like a victory
Artificial love
There are craters
where you came and left
And put a dent in solid rock
My heart is like the moon
Alone
In space wishing it could be compatible
to what it orbits around
Asteroids pass right by
Things I long to have
Shootings stars are others wishes
Mocking what I some how bare
Its sad to think it was a star
And still is today
But its crumbled
And overused
And underated
So the ones that watch it from bellow
Are fooled
By astronomy
