Kat Graham as Keyna.

------------------------

The day wasn't as busy as Keyna would have anticipated. At six o'clock she switched of the machines, arranged the receipts, counted the money earned during the day and when she was done, she locked the store. She got into her car and began her long journey home.

She didn't live that far from where she worked but with the New York traffic, it seemed like it was far due to the heavy traffic. An hour later ,she parked her car in her parking spot and rushed inside the building. She entered her apartment and after locking the door, she collapsed on the chair.

A few minutes later, her loud ringtone echoed through the living room. She checked the caller ID and it as Joanna, her best friend/boss.

"Hey," she said.
"You don't sound that energetic on hearing my voice," complained Joanna.
"I'm sorry. I'm really tired. How are you?"
"I'm fabulous and so is Richard. Do you know how beautiful Hawaii is? Its beyond perfection....."

And so Joanna went on about how she had spent the past two days with her newly wedded husband on their honeymoon in Hawaii.

"That's great."said Keyna.
"I feel like I'm bothering you. What's up?"
"Nothing Jo. I'm fine really."
"You don't sound fine though Keyna. Are you sick?"
" I doubt. Its just really cold here."
"Well I'm sorry babe. Anyway I'll call you later. Richard and I are about to have hot...."

"Shut up Jo. I don't want to know that you're going to do the nasty okay. Talk to your later."

She hang up and put on a hot shower. She got into her warm pajamas, microwaved left over pasta. She turned on her TV and caught up with the news of the world. Soon afterwards ,she slipped into her bed and went into a world of slumber.

------------------------------

" Melanie," yelled Malcom from his office.

The short brunette woman walked into his office after knocking on the door.

"You called?"

"Yes. I want you to send this files to the finance department and then I want you to go over to Finnelman & Son and get me what he said he would give me," he said not looking up from the laptop in front of him.

"Okay sir," she said as she picked the files from the table.

She began making her way out of the office but stopped in her tracks and turned around.

"What is it?" asked Malcom lifting his head from his laptop.

"Your suit is supposed to be picked up but I might not have the time to go and pick it up for you," she said looking down at the ground.

"Fine I'll pick it up. Just go," he ordered.

With that she walked away from the office.

Malcom remained at his desk and finished up on some work. A few minuted to five o' clock, he took his coat and briefcase and made his way out of the building greeting all the people he came across with a short wave of his hand and a smile. He walked to his parking sport and got into his black range rover. He turned on the radio and began his journey to the laundry store.

Half an hour later he parked his car in front of the store and got out into the chilly New York weather.

The bell rang as he opened the door and he quickly made his way to the counter. Ashley who was at the counter stood up and put a smile across her face.

"Good evening. How may I help you?" She asked.

He handed her the receipt and she made her way to the storage area. She started panicking when she saw the state of the precious suit. She quickly ran to the office.

"Keyna we have a problem."
"What? What is it?", Keyna asked as she looked up from the laptop.

She stood up and made her way to where Ashley was standing with the suit in her hand.

"It's Mr Coleman's suit." Said Ashley with fear in her voice.

"What? Where's the problem?," asked Keyna before she saw the large stain on the left lapel of the suit. "Shit that's bad."

"What do I do Keyna? What do I tell him? That I spoilt his suit? He'll sue me! He might have me fired.... Oh Keyna you know how bad I need this job and I've barely been here for a month. I can't lose my job. What do I do? Keyna what do I do?", cried Ashley.

"Don't worry Ashley. I'll take care of it," said Keyna taking the suit from Ashley's hands.

She returned the suit to the store and made her way to the counter. She plastered a smile on her face and was met by a bored irritated face.

"Where's my suit Ms Bishop?"

"Good to know you remember my name," she said. "Unfortunately Mr Coleman, there had been a problem."

"What? Did you ruin my suit?"

"May I explain?"

He nodded for her to continue.

"A small stain has appeared and it will take a while to clean it. If you don't mind you can pick it up on Monday."

"What the fuck do you mean a small stain?" He shouted. " Let me see my suit."

"I don't think that's a good idea," countered Keyna.

"Let me see my damn suit. Now!" He yelled.

Ashley went to get the suit from the store and showed it to Malcolm whose face went red with furry.

"This is what you call a small stain?" He shouted.

"Sir I can fix it if you just...."

"What do you mean fix it? Did you wash it? Are you the one who washed it Bishop?" He asked.

Keyna starred straight into his face not letting anything go.

"You didn't right. Because if you had washed it like you always do there would be no stain. The suit would be perfect. So who the fuck did this?"

"Sir I am sorry but I cannot disclose that information to you," said Keyna as calmly as she possibly could.

"Where's the manager? I want to see the manager!" He yelled.

"I'm sorry but the manager isn't around." Said Keyna.

"Then let me see the assistant manager!"

"You're talking to her."

"You!" He said surprise evident in his voice.

"Yes me."

He looked at her and studied her closely.

"I'll pick it up on Monday at five o'clock sharp. Make sure its perfect and this time I want you to launder it." He said as made his way out if the store.

"See you on Monday ," she said, "asshole." In a lower voice.

"Oh my gosh. Thank you so much Keyna." Said Ashley.

"Don't mention it."

Keyna walked to the locker room and picked her things up.

"Make sure you lock up. See you on Monday."she said as she hugged Ashley goodbye.
