----------------------------------

When she got back to work, many things needed to be done. First of all the inspector was due any time that week and so she had to make sure everything was perfect. Secondly there was so much laundry to be done because the number of customers had increased. Thirdly she needed to hire two more employees to help around the busy place. And she also wanted to buy another washing machine for the store. So she ended up spending most of her time in the store that week.

Malcolm on the other hand was beyond stressed. While away, he had lost some business deals and had more paperwork than he had anticipated. He spent most of the time at meetings and the rest in his office.

The week went by quickly and soon it was Sunday. She woke up and had a shower, got into a knee length floral dress and paired it with a green knee length coat. She got into heels and tied her hair into a neat bun. Then she got her handbag and after a light breakfast, she made her way to church.

After the nine o'clock sermon that ended at eleven, she drove to her mothers house like she always did every Sunday. She was the first to arrive and she took her coat off and her heels and went to the kitchen to help her mother prepare lunch.

"I've heard stories about you," said her mother with a cheeky grin on her face.

"What have you heard?" She asked looking up from the chopping board.

"That brown haired fellow. The best man,"

"Malcolm?"asks Keyna with her eyebrow raised.

"Yes I think that's his name," said her mother with a wide smile on her face.

Keyna rolled her eyes and thought of how she would kill her two big mouthed sisters who were spreading lies.

"Its all a lie. Everything that you have heard is a lie."said Keyna putting chopped onions in a saucepan.

"Oh come on sweetheart don't be like that." Said her mother as she filled a chicken before putting it in the oven.

"Be like what?" Asked Keyna as she washes some utensils.

"Don't say no to him when you haven't even given him a chance. That's what you always do. You turn people away before you even get to know them. And don't tell me that you are still hurt by Dylan. That was three years ago. Let it go." Said her mother.

"First of all mom,he's not my type. Second of all he's always sleeping with other women and you know I can't stand that in a man. Third of all I did let it go. Its not my fault that I can't trust any man ever again okay," she said as she looked at her mother who she inherited some looks from. Mostly her hair, her nose and her body.

There bell rang and Keyna wiped here hands on her apron before removing it and going to see who it was. When she opened the door, she was shocked.

"What the hell are you doing here Malcolm?" She asked with her hands on her hips.

"Good to see you too Keyna." He said as he smiled sheepishly at her.

She took a step back and tried to close the door. Her mother appeared from behind her with the widest smile ever across her face.

"Oh Malcolm. Welcome. I'm so glad that you could make it." She said as she pulled him in for a hug.

Keyna stood behind her mother, arms crossed, eyebrows raised wondering what the hell was going on.

"Please come in. Excuse my daughter for her horrible behaviour. She's having a bad day." Said Keyna's mother as she led him into their living room.
