On Saturday, so many activities took place and everybody was running all over making sure that everything was in place and perfect. This off course meant that both Keyna and Malcolm had to come into contact and thus consequently meant that there was awkward tension.
She avoided his gaze and avoided talking to him or even being around him while the four went to the church, and the reception venue which was Joshua's mothers mansion and made sure that everything was perfect.
"Okay well I'm gonna go. I'll see you in an hour Kalisa,"said Keyna to her sister while the other two were busy on their phones.
"Okay. Make sure you come on time. See you later Key," she said as she hugged her sister goodbye.
Keyna turned around and began walking away when Kalisa stopped her. "Aren't you going to say goodbye to them?"
"I will," she said as she turned," Joshua, Malcolm goodbye."
"Malcolm would you mind escorting her out?" Asked Kalisa.
"No he doesn't need to. I'm fine.Bye," said Keyna as she turned around.
A few steps later, she felt his presence behind her and so she picked up her pace and ignored him.
"Wait Keyna. Stop running away from me," said Malcolm as he jogged to her and stood right in front of her.
"I'm not running away from you Malcolm, I'm just in a hurry," she said as she side stepped him and got out of the large garden and walked into the parking area.
He gave up. He wasn't going to run after her. I mean he was the all high and mighty Malcolm Coleman and she was just a dry cleaner. He watched her get into her car and began insulting himself for following her.
What did he want to do anyway? Apologise? For what? Her arrogance and stupidity? No!
The rest of the day went by quickly and soon the beautiful sun started to set. She got out of her apartment locking it and walked to her car with black jeans, runners and a white shirt with a small suitcase behind her and made her way to her mothers house where the bridesmaids and the bride would spend the night.
On the other hand, Malcolm walked out of his shower, his hair dripping wet and got into sweatpants and a plain shirt. The grooms men would be spending the night in his mansion with the groom off course and he had pulled out all the bottles of whiskey and wine from his cellar and arranged them in preparation for the long night.
A few hours later, they were all sprawled on the couch and on the ground, their glasses full or half full of wine.
"Are you sure that she's the one Josh?" Asked one of the groomsman.
