"So, do you have any ideas?" Sophie asks.

"Not a clue. All I know is that I want to know the song really well so I don't have to worry about it while I'm performing on stage."

"What you are saying is that you want to feel connected with the song? You want to make sure you feel every word of it so that you can make the judges blown away, right?"

"Exactly, you really get me bestie."

"Of course, what are friends for?"

"Alright then, should we start looking?"

"Definitely, how about I tell you the song title that comes up, you sing a part of it and then we'll see if it's the one?"

"Okay, hit me with the first one."

"The first song is Crazier by Taylor Swift."

"Here goes nothing.

'You lift my feet off the ground, you spin me around
You make me crazier, crazier
Feels like I'm falling and I I'm lost in your eyes
You make me crazier, crazier, crazier."

"That was good, did it help that you are in love?"

"Actually, it kind of did. But we should still look for more options though, just to have a variety of options."

"Alright then, next up Amazed by Vanessa Hudgens"

"Baby I'm amazed what I feel for you
Baby I'm amazed what your faith can do
Baby I'm amazed where you take me too, don't you know uh oh oh."

"Ugh, I say no on that one, it seems too girlish for you."

"I know, I barely felt that one. Plus it's almost like the previous one."

"By the way, do you even know who the judges are going to be?"

"No idea."

"Okay. I'm sure we'll find your song soon. How about Clarity by Zedd?"

"Cuz you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need.
Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity why are you my clarity?"

"Yeah, yeah. Regardless of it being kind of sad, it's got a great beat to it which you can perform to."

"You're right! So it's between Crazier and Clarity so far."

"Of course."

"Okay then, ima take a quick break and go to the restroom."

"Alright, I'll keep looking meanwhile."

"Sounds great." As Sophie keeps scrolling through the iPod, she runs into an unknown song. She listens to it for a while and.... JACKPOT! Everything from the beat to the lyrics sounds perfect.

"Darlyn! Darlyn! I found it! I found the song. Hurry!"

"Hold up." She then runs towards Sophie, plugging in the headphone and instantly smiles. "Yes, yes yes! This is it. Thank you so much for helping me find the tune Sophie."

"No problem," she looked really sad though.

"What's wrong? Aren't you happy?"

"It's just that... ever since you started going out with Alfonso we've drifted apart. This is the first time in years that we hang out and I'm sad that it's over," she says while looking down, with a tear in her eye, which Darlyn noticed instantly.

"Look, I didn't know that you felt that way. I promise you that I will hangout whenever I can." Darlyn then holds Sophie's shoulders, looks at her and says, "How about we hang out at lunch tomorrow."

"You sure he won't mind?" Sophie asks about Alfonso.

"Alfonso? Nah, he won't mind. Plus he probably misses his friends as well."

"Okay then, tomorrow it is."

"And while we're here, do you want to watch a movie?"

"Sure, I'll put the movie on."

"I'll go get us some snacks."

Darlyn couldn't have had a better day. She discovered about her great opportunity, caught up with her best friend, and found the song with her help all in one day. Nothing could go wrong at all.
