18. A New Beginning

The next morning, the plane was about to arrive at New York when she unexpectedly got a text from Alfonso. 'What the? I thought airplanes had no signal?' She opened the text and then started crying. She didn't know what to do. And then she decided to call Logan.

Luckily he was around the New York area when she called. He looks down at his phone and notices that it's her. "Hey, it's her."

"Well then, answer her," James said.

Kendall then bumped in saying, "Remember what we talked about last night."

"Got it."

Phone Convo

L: Hello?

D: Logan, can you please pick me up from the airport.

(He noticed that she was crying)

L: What happened? Are you hurt?

D: Yes, big time.

L: What happened?

D: Alfonso broke up with me through text.

(Logan felt bad for her, but he also felt a hint of hope for him and her)

L: What?! That jerk-face.

D: Hey don't call him that.

L: But he just broke your heart... And I don't like seeing you get hurt.

D: Technically you're not seeing me this very moment... (She laughed a little)

L: You know what I mean, and glad to hear your laugh again.

D: Thanks

L: So, do you want me to pick you up?

D: Um, sure. My plane is just about to land.

L: Okay then, I'll pick you up and take you somewhere nice

D: Thanks Logan

L: Alright now, see ya in a bit

D: See ya later Logie

Real Life

Logan was then sitting there, smiling like an idiot. "Earth to Logan, again," Carlos says.

"Hey, lover boy. What happened?" Kendall asks.

"With what?" Logan asks.

"With Darlyn? What happened?"

"Oh, well she's single now! Yeah," Logan says while smiling.

"Ok ok, that's great for you. But remember, she just got out of a relationship. Don't rush things with her," Kendall says.

"Exactly, become really great friends with her. Show her around New York," James adds.

"What if you even invite her to open for us in the tour?" Carlos says.

"Wow, that is also an amazing idea Carlos. Why didn't I think of that?" Logan says.

"Maybe because you're too caught up with Darlyn?" Carlos replies.

"You're right. Anyways I have to get to the airport. My girl is waiting for me," Logan says.

"Relax Logan, she's not your girl," James says.

"Yet," Logan says while pointing at him. "I'll be back in a few hours. Cuz Ima take her somewhere nice."

"By the way. Are you planning to like, I don't know, take her on a date or something?" Kendall asks.

"Maybe. Why?"

"Don't rush things. Take her somewhere simple like the park or a place to eat. But not a fancy dinner," Kendall says.

"And especially... Keep your feelings inside. Wait until the song is ready to admit it to her," Carlos says.

"Alright. I'll be careful," Logan says.

"Good luck and have fun with your crush," James says.

"Thanks, bye guys." And the door closed.

"Don't you guys think it's weird that we talked about her and her bf not working out, and a few days later it happened?" Kendall says.

Carlos adds, "Yeah, it's like someone is watching us," he then looks around the tour bus.

"Calm down Carlos, it's just a coincidence of life," James says.

"Okay then. If you say so."

The guys then continued to help write some songs. Including some love songs for their next album and they all used their experiences in love for those. Including some heart breaking songs as well.

So Alfonso did break up with Darlyn and now she's going to try to forget about him by hanging out with Logan. Will Logan actually get her to love him, or is she just using his presence to forget about Alfonso?? Answers, coming soon.
