54. Without You </3

James and Halston were backstage, getting ready to perform. Halston looked really nervous as James approached her. "Are you ready for this?" He looked really happy to her and she was about to hate herself.

"James, can I talk to you for a moment?" He nodded as she pulled him to the side. "I think we should break up." She looked at him and expected a mad and furious James, but instead she saw the depressed and broken hearted one. James looked down at her shoes, which ironically were the ones she wore on their first date. "Look, we're both really busy. You with the band and me with my acting career taking off..." James then turned his back to her. "... James, I don't want you to think that there is someone else... because there isn't."

James tried to hold in his tears, but he let one out. He quickly wiped it off and then replied to her. "Don't worry about me then. Worry about yourself..."

He then walked towards the stage, as their names were being called. Halston stood there, feeling guilty. But she has felt apart from him for a while...

James walked onto the stage, hearing the many fans screaming. He sat on a stool, with a piano that was set up beforehand . "Hey everyone. So there was a change of plans and I will be singing a song that is dear to my heart. Hope you guys like it."

As he said that, Halston was still backstage watching him through the screen. James took a deep breath in and started playing a beautiful melody.

James got really emotional during the performance. After he played the final keys of the piano, he looked toward the audience and felt the love from them.

He stood up, while holding the mic he said, "You guys are the best. I love you all and thanks for enjoying my heartfelt performance."

Some fans could tell he was hurt, but were not sure why. Others thought it was all part of the act. James waved one last time to the crowd and reminded them that Carlos and Alexa were up next.

As he headed backstage he saw everyone, except for Halston, waiting to give him a hug. Carlos was the first to hug him. Letting out a little tear, he said, "Awww, buddy. That was real sweet of you. I also can't live without you."

"Awww, Jarlos moment!" Darlyn, Britney, and Ariel yelled in unison.

"Me too buddy. Now get out there and serenade to your girl!"

"I will." He motioned to Alexa, "Let's go, my beautiful actress."

"Ooh la la." James looked their way, as they left. And when he faced back to the rest of them, they all gave him another hug.

Kendall then said, "Whatever happened, we're here for you James."

"Thanks guys." James was still feeling hurt, especially since this was the millionth time that she broke his heart. Only time could heal his pain.

Hello everyone, since it's obvious that James and Halston broke up I decided it was time to do so in the story. Also, I don't really like her cuz I actually prefer Peta. Which, by the way, I'm so happy that they made it to the semi-finals!!!!! Don't forget to vote for Jeta :D They really deserve it...
