37. Friends?

The next morning, Darlyn was making pancakes for the guys when she then heard a knock on the door. "I guess the manager is here early." But once she opened the door, her eyes popped wide open. "What the hell are you doing here??!!"

There in the door way stood Alfonso, smiling. "Well hello to you too Darlyn." He was then leaning in, about to hug her.

"Don't you dare touch me!"

"Relax. I was just going to give you a hug. Geez, why do you have to over react?"

"Just cuz I said we could TRY to be friends does not mean you can just show up and hug me like nothing bad ever happened!" She held her hand up in a 'stop it' form.

"Look, I just wanted to see you and make sure that you were okay." He had a look of sorry and sadness in his eyes.

"Wait a sec, how did you get here? Our body gaurds are supposed to keep watch!"

"I told them I was a good friend of yours and they let me through."

"That easily?"

"Nah, I bought them doughnuts and then they let me though."

"Damn those body guards," she looked down to her side with her hand in a fist. "Well?"

"Well what?"

"What do you need? You already see that I'm safe so you can go now." She motioned her hand in a 'shew shew' kind of form to get him away.

"I need..." He looked away and stayed quiet for a moment. "...you."

Darlyn was surprised and started to think: Damn it. This is just like my dream. You see, you're wanted everywhere, jijiji. Shush, stop trying to take over, ego.

"That's nice Alfonso, but I've moved on."

"With who? That gay boy band fag?"

"Shut UP!!! He is not what you say!"

"Ugh yeah he is. All guys in boybands are gay."

"So what you're saying is... you wanna be in a boyband to embrace your gayness?" She immediately wanted to laugh, but instead kept a serious face.

"I did not say that!" Alfonso was getting even more mad that he was getting closer to Darlyn. All of a sudden, Logan came up right behind her and realized who she was speaking to.

"Babe, what's he doing here?" Logan asked, as he embraced her from the waist.

"I don't know. I don't even know why the body guards decided to let him through."

"Look, I'm not here to cause trouble between you guys," Alfonso held his hands in front of him.

"Oh trust, you're not causing any trouble now. You already caused it when you broke this angel's heart 8 months ago!" Logan was determined to keep Darlyn safe at all costs.

"Aww, you called me an angel," Darlyn looked up to her side at Logan, they both smiled at each other. "And yeah Alfonso, I don't need you anymore. Those years of us are long gone."

"But Darlyn, you promised we would try to be friends again."

"Yeah, but a friend does not insult their friend's lover, do they?"

Alfonso stood there quiet, wondering what to do to fix this. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to say those things about your boyfriend. You guys look really happy together."

"Thanks, and we are happy. Aren't we Logan?"

"Yes babe. I'm so thankful to finally have you with me." He leaned close enough to kiss her shoulder.
