"There's two cars missing." Alex pointed out.

I looked at the driveway that is usually packed with five cars, I noticed it was missing two cars.

"Do you think they already left to search for her?" I asked as we got off my car.

I was hoping I could help Harry and the boys look for Ashley, so I was really hoping they haven't left to look for her.

I gently knock on the door and wait for someone to come and open the door.

After a few minutes of waiting, Liam finally opened the door.

I was a bit confused as to why Liam was here instead of helping to look for Ashley. I figured he would be with Harry helping out since he is the smartest of the group and is good with making up plans. I know because Ashley has told me a lot about them and how they are.

"George? Alex? What are you guys doing here?" He asked a bit surprised to see us.

"We're here to help look for Ashley." I smiled.

I tried to be as nice as possible, yet it bothered me that he isn't helping the others look for Ashley.

Liam rolled his eyes, "Not you too, Harry and the boys just left. I don't understand why you guys can't accept the fact that she's gone." He sniffled.

At first I was angered at the way Liam was being so negative about Ashley, but once I looked closely into his eyes I noticed they were bloodshot red. That's when I realize, he had been crying.

I have never seen Liam with his eyes that red, not even when we found out Ashley could be dead. Yeah he shed a few tears, but he wasn't sobbing like everyone else was. I can't say he's heartless, more like stronger than others. Maybe it's because he's been through so much by being in the gang he is in that's made him like that.

"Liam, are you ok?" Alex asked.

Liam closed his eyes and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. You guys should probably give Harry a call, him and the boys just left. They took his car and Niall's car."

Even though he said he was fine, I can already tell he wasn't. He must've been tying his eyes out before we got here and is trying to hide that fact. I really wanted to help him and tell him he isn't in this alone because the boys, Alex, and I are also hurting but there was no time. I had to help find Ashley before its too late.

There was still one question in my mind that was still bugging me.

I cocked a brow, "Why aren't you helping them?" I asked confused.

Liam sighed and shook his head, "Don't worry about it, just go." He said as he began closing the door.

I knew I couldn't get through Liam, so I wasn't really going to stay and talk to him about what's wrong. My guess is Liam is the kind of guy to push away those who want to help and by saying he's fine when clearly he's not, proves my guess is correct.

"Hold on Liam." Alex suddenly spoke stopping the door with her foot

I was seriously surprised Alex would even think about doing that. If you haven't noticed, Alex isn't really confident while being around these guys. Even though they see her as a friend, she's still kind of nervous around them.

"Alex, I don't think that's-

"No George, you go find Harry and the others. Help them find Ashley, Liam and I are just going to talk. We'll be driving around look too when we finish talking." She smiled.

At first I wasn't really sure if it was ok to leave Alex with Liam. I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt her, but since this happened to Ashley I can't help but be over protective of Alex.
