Chapter 26

*3 days later*

Riley's POV:

When we took Amelie to the hospital, she was dehydrated and malnourished, so she stayed over night but discharged the next morning. Lucas and I decided to go ahead with the trip to Mexico, so now I am sat on the plane, with my head resting on Lucas's shoulder. We haven't long been in the air.
"I can't wait to get to the hotel." Lucas says, suggestively. I give him a look.
"What?" He asks defensively.
"Sex is not the point of this trip. And it's definitely not what we are doing first." I hit him playfully.
"Well, then what is?"
"To spend time together silly!"
"Sex is doing that."
"Lucas! We are not spending the entire trip having sex."
"But we can spend some of it having it?"
"Well yeah, of course, I'm not stupid."
"What else do you want to do then?"
"I want to do lots of swimming."
"And how about snorkelling in the ocean?"
"Yes! That sounds amazing!"
"Good, because I've already booked it."
"I love you." I kiss him.
"And I love you." He brings me in closer to him and a fall asleep.

I wake up to Lucas shaking me softly.
"Riley, babe, the plane's landed. We're in Mexico."
"Okay."
We get off the plane and go collect our luggage before catching a cab to the hotel.

"Wow! Lucas look at this place!" I say as we enter our gorgeous suite.
"I know right? It's amazing. And, hey, check out this view from the balcony." He says and I go over to the balcony, it overlooks the clear blue ocean. Lucas wraps his arms around me.
"This is perfect." I say to him.
He looks at me in such a special way before slowly easing into a passionate kiss, we make our way over to the couch, not breaking the kiss, to continue to make out, Lucas then moves his kisses from my lips to my neck, where he sucks hard, I then suck on a soft spot on his shoulder, as we strip each other naked. And, well, you get the idea.
"I thought you said that wasn't going to be the first thing we did when we got here." Lucas smirks whilst still panting.
"I got caught in the moment."
"You're really good at it Riley. What did I ever do to deserve you?"
"Be you. Because you deserve everything in the world, because you are amazing at everything, especially what just happened."
"It's a good job that we are both good because we are the only ones we are ever gonna get, right?"
"Right. We are endgame, you know it, I know it."
"I can't wait to marry you."
"Ditto."
"So, do you want to go to our scuba diving lesson now or what?" He smiles and I bounce out of bed excitedly, everything else bounces with me and Lucas laughs. This is gonna a great trip...
