Chapter 41

Maya's POV:

I am awoken by a gentle kiss being placed on my lips.
"Morning, Gorgeous. Or should I say afternoon?" Josh smirks as he sits next to me on the bed and wraps his arm around me. That's when the hangover comes flooding in.
"Ow. My head hurts, how much did I drink last night?"
"Too much."
That's when I realise I have no clothes on.
"Wait, why am I? We didn't? Did we? What happened?" I ask confused.
"No, we didn't. We almost did, but you were very drunk, I mean I'd had a lot to drink but you were really drunk, and it would be taking advantage and illegal. But you did put on a strip show and give me a lap dance or two and another make out session before you eventually passed out half way through sucking my neck." He chuckles.
"What time is it?"
"2pm."
"Oh boy. Have you heard from Riley?"
"No, not since last night. She was more drunk than you. Lucas was about the same as you."
"Okay."
"How about you go take a shower and I'll sort out something to cure that hangover of yours?" Josh suggests, climbing off the bed and heading towards the door.
"Thank you. That sounds good." I walk over to him and kiss him passionately.
"Your still naked." He comments, breaking our make out session.
"I know." I smirk, and head for the shower. When I get to the bathroom I look at myself in the mirror. I am covered in hickeys, all over my neck, shoulders, ears, face, hands, legs, everywhere that's wasn't covered my undergarments.

Josh's POV:

Last night was great. We probably shouldn't have done as much as we did but soon we will be able to do all of it, all day, everyday. Maya has no idea just how excited for our wedding I am. Cory always promised me I'd find a Topanga, and I have in Maya.
Suddenly I hear the latch on the front door go, shit. Shawn's back.
"Josh. What are you still doing here?" Shawn says, scaring me slightly.
"Maya drank too much last night, she was angry too, this girl who is practically stalking Maya and I because she likes me was at the after party and there was a slight fight. I brought her back here and she wanted to do things, but I said no, not wanting to take advantage of her and put her to bed. She has only just woken up. She's talking a shower and I'm preparing some stuff to help with her hangover." I say nervously. I decided to leave out the naked make out parts. Shawn walks closer towards me. I'm afraid of what he is gonna do.
"Thank you Buddy, you're a good kid. I'm glad you're the one Maya is gonna grow old with." He pays me on the back.
"Thank you Sir." I am relieved and shocked.
A few moments later, Maya comes out fresh faced and dressed.

"Hey Daddy. Have a good time last night?" Maya asks hugging her dad.
"Yes thanks Prom Queen. How's your head?"
"Awful."
"Here this should help." I say, passing her, coffee, ibuprofen, and a bacon, egg and black pudding sandwich.
"Thank you baby."
"My pleasure."
"I'm gonna go to Riley's after I've had this. So you'll be free from me." She tells me.
"I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too. But aren't you going up to Philly tomorrow?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna help my parents pack up some of their things and Mr Feeny."
"How long will you be gone?"
"Only a couple of days."
"Okay. Well I'm gonna go to Riley's. Thanks for the breakfast. I'll see you in a bit."
"Okay Maya. I love you."
"I love you too. Bye babe." She kisses me, grabs her bag and leaves.

Riley's POV:

Last night, me and Lucas and I had sex for the first time since I miscarried and it was really good. But this morning we both had really sore heads, but Farkle came round and helped us clear them. Maya's now on her way round, and we can then discuss last night.
"Riley!" I hear Maya call from the bay window she must have just climbed through.
"Coming." I go and find her and sit down next to her.
"I had sex with Lucas for the first time since I lost the baby." I blurt out straight away.
"That's good, right?"
"Yeah. I think so anyway. I'm glad I told him."
"Me too. Josh and I almost had sex last night. We made out naked, I stripped for him, gave him a lap dance and more making out." I cringe at this.
"Ew. Maya I don't need to know the details when it involves my uncle. Just ew. And also I can tell you made out, your covered in love bites." I tease.
"Sorry. Where's Amelie?"
"Still at my parents place. Auggie and Ava wanted to spend the day with her."
"That's cute."
"Yeah, my mom is working at the same time."
"She is super human, I swear."
"Tell me about it. Hey, Maya how you coping with all of this Kelly stuff?"
"Nothing I can't handle. She's just a slut who is trying to be a home wrecker."
"You're so strong about it all. If Lucas and I were in this situation I'd be a mess."
"Well, I've always got your back."
"Thank you Peaches."
"Now what d'you say, we brave the outside world and go to Starbucks for happy hour on frappuccinos?"

"Sounds perfect."
And we head to Starbucks.
