Cory's POV:
I am currently sat in my office with Lucas. As much as I love my new job, because I really do, there is no marking, no lesson planning and overall a far easier job, I hate having to punish people, particularly in this circumstance, because this is personal.
"Mr Frair, do you care to explain your actions last night?"
"Sir, I am ever so sorry, I don't know what got in to me last night, I was sleep deprived, the death of Zay was only really sinking in, and I don't know! I really screwed up Mr Matthews! I've lost the love of my life and my daughter! Haven't I? Oh Mr Matthews I'm so sorry!" He says, beginning to cry.
"Listen Lucas. I know you're a good kid, and an excellent student, but if this ever happens again, well words can't even describe. Now go sign in at the office, and find Riley. Although I have to worn you, she won't forgive you as easy as I. So, good luck!" I stand up and open the door.
"Oh Mr Matthews! It'll never happen again! I swear on my life! Thank you! Thank you!" He rushes off and I close the door.
I sit on my chair and put my feet up on the desk. I sigh happily at myself. Then my phone starts to ring. Topanga!
C:Why hello my beautiful wifey!
T:Hi Cory, can you come home?
C:Why? What's wrong?
T:Nothing, I'm just lonely. I miss Riley being at home, and you. And Auggie is in school full time now, and my law firm are paying me to work at home but do nothing because there are hardly any cases! I need something to entertain me!
C:Oooh! Yay mama! I'll come home right now!
T:I'll be waaaiiiting!
C:Don't I know it!
T: Until then my man!
C:I'll be there in 20!
I hang up and grab my brief case.
"Rhonda! I'll be back at lunch! I have to go!" I say to my secretary as I hurry out of the building and into my car.
Yay! Yay! Yay! Mama Topanga wants me!
