I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing, for me to get up for school. I roll over to face Lucas who is still sound asleep with nothing but his boxers on. I climb out of bed and yank the covers of my fiancé to wake him up but he stays asleep. I take a quick shower and put on my clothes.

Lucas is still asleep so I decide to leave him and go and get Amelie ready for daycare, I can't believe she is two in just 6 months, she is growing up so fast. When I get to her nursery, she is stood up in her crib, bouncing about. "Mama! Up!" She says when she spots me. "Good morning beautiful." I say kissing her head. "Mama! Up!" She says again and I pick her up from her crib, I quickly dress her and play with her a little. "Dada! Where Dada?" She says cutely. "Shall we go wake up daddy?" I ask her. "Daddy!" She cries, place her on the ground and she runs to where Lucas is sleeping. "Dada sleepyhead!" She pokes him and giggles, I help her onto the bed and she bounces onto him. "Dada! Up! Wakey up!" She giggles and Lucas wakes up slowly. "Hello Amelie." He says making her jump and tickling her belly, blowing raspberries too. "Stop! Mama help!" She squeals, I start to tickle Lucas and he gives in. "I'll go take a shower." He suggests. "Okay. We'll be in the kitchen. Breakfast, Ams?" I ask her. "Yeah! Yeah! Poptars!" She tries to say pop tarts but fails in a cute way. "No pop tarts before school. You know that baby." I tell her and she frowns slightly before hurrying into the kitchen. Just as I plate up breakfast, Lucas decides to join Amelie and I, we eat up and get ready to leave for school. "I'll go see if Maya needs a ride, whilst you put Amelie in the car?" I suggest to Lucas. "Okay, I'll see you down there." He kisses me and takes Amelie downstairs and I knock on Maya's door. "Maya it's Riley!" I call, I love having her live so close by, it's closer than ever. Then I realise she hasn't responded. "Maya? Are you in there?" I ask, and then I remember I have a key. I open the door to hear a cough and the flush of the loo. "Maya? It me, Riley." I say heading towards the bathroom. "Hey, Riles, sorry I didn't hear you." "Are you okay?" "Yeah, you?" "Great, want a ride to school?" "Please, Josh had to get to school early again for exams so he has the car." "Okay, let's go." I grab her bag for her and we head downstairs. Somethings up, I'm just not sure what, I'll see how she is at school today.
