*3 weeks later*

Maya's POV:

After weeks of being passed around, Amelie is finally going to be reunited with Riley and Lucas, as they come back from their vacation today. Today, and yesterday, she has been at me and dad's place, it was really fun yesterday, Amelie, Dad and I spent the whole day together and I haven't had any quality time together in ages. He has been really busy with work but he is still there when I need him unlike my mom. My thoughts are interrupted by Amelie crying, awaking from her sleep. I go and get her, and figure out what's wrong.
"Hey Ams, what's wrong with you? Huh? I think your diaper needs changing. Yes it does!" I say in a baby voice to her. As I finish changing her, my phone rings and Amelie still hasn't stopped crying. I look at my phone, it's Josh.
"Hey babe, listen are really can't talk right now, Amelie is won't stop crying." I say as soon as I answer.
"Maya. Turn on the news." Josh says in a very serious tone.
"What? Why?"
"Maya please, now."
"Okay, Josh you are scaring me."
I hurry into the living room and switch on the TV. There has been a plane crash.
"Josh, I have the news on, why?"
"Look at the flight details of the crashed plane." I look, the plane was flying from Mexico, to New York.
"Maya are you still there?"
"J-Josh. That's their, that's their flight. Josh. Please tell me they are okay. Josh!" He stays silent as I scream down the phone. The. Somethings catches my eye on the screen. 'Death Count Unknown.' I drop my phone and fall to the ground rocking Amelie back and forth. Both of us crying. It's their plane that crashed, they were in that plane...
