Maya's POV:Light seeps through the room as I flutter my eyelids open and find myself naked and entangled in Josh; my husband, I smile at that and decide to take a shower and get dressed before he wakes up.
I finish drying my hair and tighten the towel around my body before exiting the bathroom. I walk to where my overnight bag is and take out the outfit i brought with me. I drop my towel and begin to put on my undergarments when I feel someone watching me, I look over to see Josh sat up watching me in a cute way.
"Morning sleepyhead." I laugh and I throw on my shirt.
"Good morning wife." He smiles.
"I was thinking we should go see our home today, you know seeing as we haven't actually been there yet."
"Definitely. I can't believe that this is real life." He says, hopping out of bed and finding some clothes to put on.
"Me neither, but it is so I'm thrilled. My dreams are coming true, something that I never thought would happen." I tell him, whilst applying some light makeup.
"Can we go eat? I'm hungry." He says dragging me away from the dresser and pulling me up to kiss him.
"Okay. I love you." I giggle and grab our room key.
"I love you too." Josh says shutting the door behind us and putting his large arm around me where I feel so safe.Josh's POV:
After breakfast, Maya and I take our things from our hotel room and out then in the car and we drive to the address on the apartment key. I've never been happier than right now, Maya and I are finally married, and we can do anything together now, the age thing no longer matters. Yesterday was the best day of my life and I think it was Maya's too.
I glance over at her singing along to the radio and just smile, she is so beautiful.
"Why don't you do anything with that beautiful voice of yours My?" I ask her using the nickname that only began last night.
"Because I like keeping it between us. I don't need the world knowing I can sing."
"Okay, just never stop."
"Stop what?"
"Singing, dancing around, being happy. Like you are today, and everyday lately, never stop being you."
"Okay. Thank you Josh." She kisses my cheek and I park up the car at the apartment building.
"Wait, Josh."
"Yeah babe?"
"That is Riley's building."
"Oh yeah. I didn't notice."
"Let's go see our home!" She squeals grabbing my hand and hurrying up to the number on the key, she shoves the key in the lock when I notice something.
"Maya, look behind you." I tell her, she spins around.
"That's Riley's! We live opposite Riley, Amelie and Lucas!" She says happily jumping into my arms.
"Hey, just like Monica and Rachel and Chandler and Joey." I joke referencing my favourite show.
"OMG yes! This is amazing!" She cries, she is the happiest I've ever seen her.
I pick her up bridal style and open the front door, I almost drop her at the sight in front of us.
"J-Josh. They put all the furniture in it for us. I thought we would have to decorate it and buy furniture." Maya says in shock. Then she walks over to two envelopes. One is addressed to me and the other Maya. We sit on the couch and read them out loud.
"Joshua. I've have known you all your life, and I have watched you grow into the kindest and most caring gentleman I've ever known. You were my favourite student, and member of your family (don't tell anyone I said that), it has been a pleasure to watch you grow into the man you are today, you and Maya deserve nothing but happiness, and I mean that, you are wonderful people who could not be more perfect for each other. Take care of Maya, cherish every moment with her, I know you will. I will always be your friend and teacher, so anytime you need even the smallest piece of advice, I'd love if you came to me for it, it would mean the world to me. Congratulations on your marriage and your new home. Love, Mr George Feeny." I choke at the end, touched by his great words. Maya comes and sits on my lap, she cried at the letter.
"Peaches! You are my neighbour and my aunt. I never thought that would happen but I'm so happy it has. I know how much you and Uncle Josh love each other because I see it in your eyes, it's something like I've never seen, not even in my parents and you too are so good for each other. I think things are going to change for you now Maya, because this is the happiest I've ever seen you, which makes me really happy too. I love you and Uncle Josh, just try not to make too much noise, I don't want to be able to hear if I might be getting a cousin. My beautiful, independent, courageous, fierce warrior best friend, congratulations on your wedding and new home with awesome neighbours. Lots of Love, Riley." She laughs lightly wiping away her tears.
"They were beautiful letters." I say.
"Yeah, we know some extraordinary people." She smiles.
"Look at this apartment." She says changing the subject after a moment or two.
"I know right? Wow. Let's see the bedroom." I run with her to our bedroom. It's beautiful, and modern. I place Maya down on the bed. I kiss her and we start making out.
"You. Know. How. We. Should. Christened. The. Apartment?" I say between kisses.
"Have. Sex. Everywhere?" Maya asks back between kisses.
"You know it." I tell her still making out passionately. What a great day. We definitely blessed the house-once, twice maybe even three times in some places. I love married life...
