Riley's POV:

I awake to the sound of my alarm, I roll over and stop the buzzing before rolling the other way to face Lucas. He looks even more perfect asleep, but we start NYU today so I have to wake him up. I lean in a kiss his lips until I feel him kiss back and he deepens the kiss. Soon enough we are making out, but then I remember we have to get up.
"Why d'you stop?" Lucas asks me, disappointed.
"Because we have school."
"Okay, but we're continuing this tonight." He tells me, giving me another kiss, before rolling out of bed to get in the shower.
"Or we could continue it right now?" I smirk, following him to the shower.
"Have I ever told you how much I love you Riley soon-to-be Friar."
"I'm not sure, tell me again." I tease, wanting to hear it because I love the feeling I get inside when I do.
"I love you." He tells me.
"I love you more."
"Well, see I'm not quite sure that's possible." He replies.
"Believe me Friar, it's possible." I tell him as we step into the hot shower, and start making out again, whilst shampooing each other's hair. We are about to proceed further when I hear Amelie screaming. Lucas and I stop what we doing in a heartbeat and rush to her, just in robes. Lucas runs in before me.
"Amelie sweetie, it's okay, we're here, you're okay." Lucas whispers to her trying to stop her screaming.
"I think she's having a nightmare." I say.
Lucas picks Amelie up from her cots and rocks her in his arms, cooing her to wake up and explains it was only a dream until she stops screaming.
"D-da-daddy?" She sobs, when she wakes up.
"I'm right here baby." He assures her.
"Where's mommy?" She asks, scared.
"I'm right here too." I go over I rub circles on her small back.
"Are you okay?" I ask her.
"Unle Josh." She sobs, missing out the 'c' due yo her little voice.
"What about Uncle Josh honey?" Lucas asks her.
"He took me to play and a monster took him and Awnt My was crying and mumma you were and gwandpa and gweat-gwanny. Is Joshy okay?" She sobs.
"Uncle Josh is fine baby, do you want to see him?" I ask her and she nods cautiously.
"I'll go get him." I tell Lucas and he nods, walking Amelie into the living room and beginning to talk to her as I walk out into the corridor to the apartment opposite. I knock on the door loudly.
"Who is it?" Maya calls out, in a morning voice.
"Me, Riley!"
"Okay."
She opens the door, still in her pyjamas.
"Riles, you okay?" She asks.
"Yeah, it's just Amelie had a nightmare about a monster taking Josh away and everyone was crying so she just really wants to see him."
"Yeah, he was up before me, I only just got up."
"Okay peaches."
"Josh!" Maya calls out and Josh soon appears in the front room, fully dressed.
"Hey Riles, you okay? Was that Amelie screaming I heard?"
"Yeah, you heard that?"
"Yeah, she okay?"
"She had a nightmare, you were taken by a monster and she really wants to see you?"
"Okay. Maya, I'll be back in a bit." He say, giving her a kiss and following me back across the hall.
"Amelie, I have someone here to see you." I say when I see her, and Uncle Josh comes into the room.
"Joshy! You're okay!" She cries toddling over to him and he gives her a big hug.
"Yeah, I'm okay Amelie. It was just a bad dream."
"I love you Unle Josh." She says.
"I love you too Amelie." He replies, letting go of the hug.
"Hey, guys, how about I take Amelie back to ours whilst you get dressed and then drop her at daycare?" My uncle suggests.
"Really Uncle Josh?"
"Of course, anything for my only niece." He replies.
"Thank you, that'd be great." I reply.
"Yeah, thanks Josh." Lucas adds, and I quickly go get Amelie's stuff for daycare and an outfit for her to wear.
"I'll see you guys at school." Josh says, taking the bag on one arm and Amelie in the other.
"Bye Daddy! Mommy!" She calls out before the door shuts.
"Okay, let's get dressed." I suggest and we go off to get ready for school.
"Hey Riles, you know what starting college means?" Lucas says, as I finish getting ready by looking in the mirror.

"What?" I'm completely clueless

"What?" I'm completely clueless.
"We're one step closer to getting married." He tells me, wrapping his arms around my waist and starts to play with my engagement ring.
"I can't wait to be Mrs Friar." I say, kissing him. "But I have to finish getting ready." I tell him, as I flatten my outfit and play with my already styled hair.
"Princess, don't worry, you look perfect." Lucas assures me.
"Okay. Thank you. Let's go." I reply, picking up my bag and heading to the front room where Maya is waiting for us, looking like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. I look at Lucas, signalling for him to give us a minute.

"Bay window Peaches?" I ask her and she nods, we go to the bay window

"Bay window Peaches?" I ask her and she nods, we go to the bay window.
"What's wrong Peaches?"
"It's just, seeing Josh with Amelie. He's so good with her and he was gonna be such a good dad to our daughter and he doesn't get to be and its my fault and he should be at home playing with our daughter too Riley. It just hurts." Maya explains, and I hug her tightly.
"Maya Penelope Matthews, how many times have we told you that what happened to Olympia was not your fault?" I say to get sternly.
"I know, it's just it makes is easier."
"How?"
"I don't know. I'm sorry to put all this on you, forget it. Let's go to college!" She says putting a smile on her face. I hug her again.
"You and Josh will have more babies I promise. I can imagine you having 4 or 5 honestly. Don't worry, you'll get your family." I assure her.
"Thanks Riles."
"Anytime."
Then we head for school. When we arrive, we go to admissions, Maya tags along too.
"Hi, I'm Riley Matthews, I start new today." I explain, nervously, going up after Lucas.
"Hi Ms Matthews, here is your schedule. Would you like a buddy guide as you are new?" The office person asks.
"I'll be her buddy!" Maya announces.
"Ah! Mrs Matthews! Wait, are you two sisters or something?" The person asks. We laugh.
"Actually, Maya is my aunt." I explain, awkwardly.
"Ah yes, Joshua Matthews is your uncle, correct?"
"Yeah."
"Well, enjoy NYU!" He replies and we leave the office.
We walk on to the packed out campus. And Maya welcomed us: "So Huckleberry, Mrs Huckleberry, welcome to NYU! It's awesome."
