After she closed the door in his face, Natalia felt her heart breaking all over. She was teared apart.
What must she do? Return to Benjamin or stay away from him. She missed him a lot; but what if his parents obligated him to marry another girl for the sake of the village and he didn't have the courage to tell them about his feelings for her, it will broke her definitely.
But his heartbroken expression had affected her more than what she expected, it had felt as if a thousand knives had pierced her heart.
I'll wait and see what happens, if he show me that he is worth my love than I'll be his forever, she thought.
Once she arrived to her room, she sat on her bed reading a book to distract herself from thinking about Benjamin and her desire to be in his arms right now.
She had rejected me, he thought. But she is right what if my parents forces me to marry another one, I have to proclaim to my parents my love for Natalia and won her over ,he smiled at this thought going back to the castle.
One week had passed since Benjamin had visited her, and she still hadn't heard anything from him.
A knock on the door interrupted her depressing thoughts.
'Miss, the lord is here to see you.' The butler said.
'I'll come down right now.' Natalia replied eager to see him.
Coming downstairs she masked her her eagerness to see him with a cold expression.
She was surprised by his teary face. She was fast to take him in her arms.
'What happened to you?' Natalia said hugging him closer.
'Natalia I am to marry Nicole cousin next week and I can't do anything about it. You'll always be the only woman I had ever loved and the one I love and will love forever. Will you come to my wedding? You're the only person that matters to me, will you come and give a closure to our story?' He said sobbing in her arms.
'Yes I'll come.' She said and she would even though it will tear her to pieces.
