The twins alone went back to the Philippines a day after Samantha and the others left South Carolina. Nagpaiwan pa ang mag-asawa dahil hindi nila nagawang magsaya sa nasabing lugar. After three days, babalik na din naman ang mag-asawa.

It was around one in the afternoon, Manila time, when they reached their home. Dahil sa sobrang pagod sa byahe, nakatulog agad ang kambal.

Amethyst blames her body clock for waking up at around nine in the evening. Alas nueve ng umaga sa South Carolina ngayon at sa ganitong oras, gising siya. Well, that was when they're at South Carolina. Mabilis pa naman ding mag-adapt ang katawan niya sa paligid. Her body already adapted South Carolina. Bakit nga ba dun pa napagdesisyunan ng mag-asawa na magbakasyon? May mga bansa namang pareho lang ng time zone ng Pilipinas.

Pwede naman kasing sa Hong Kong na lang sila nagbakasyon. Hong Kong have so many tourist attraction, like Disney Land, Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery and Kowloon Park. Pwede din namang sa Brunei. They could go to Jerudong Park for Pete's sake. Why did her parents chose a country that is twelve hours behind?

"Ugh. I'm thirsty," she said. Grunting, she went down stairs and ease her thirst. When she went back to her room and tried to go back to sleep, she failed to do so. Hindi na siya inaantok. Gising na gising na nga ang diwa nito. The nine hour sleep was obviously enough for her.

Dahil wala na siyang balak patulugin ng katawan niya, kinuha na lang niya ang cellphone niya. She decided to just do nothing with her facebook account. Though something else caught her attention. She saw an envelope icon on her phone's notification bar. She swiped it down and was quite confused to know that it was a message from Alessandra. Kanina pa niya na-receive ang text nito.

>Hi, Amethyst. Nakauwi

na daw kayo? Nalaman ko

mula kay Daddy.

Even if one hour late, she decided to reply.

Hi, Alessandra. Sorry ah. Late

na yung reply. Kakagising ko lang

kasi. Nakauwi na kami :)<

Akala nito'y hindi na makakapagreply si Alessandra. It was late in the evening anyways. But contrary to what she's thinking, Alessandra actually replied. At ang bilis pa nitong nagreply. Na para bang hawak lang din niya ang cellphone niya.
